Chat Room

Afternoon everyone! Hope everyone's doing great today!! :)

Hey, hey Cheri...its a perfect 72 degree gorgeous Saturday down here in Dixie and we are doing great. Marge and Claudia just made a Sam's Club run, I'm working on the trike getting ready for Daytona Trike Week...Cant wait to hang out with my TrikeTalk buddies! :pepper:

Hope 'yall are doing well too.

Hi there everyone, we are in Milford, Conn. for the night. If you are ever in Milford, eat at GG's, great spaghetti w/ meatballs for me...sausage for Janice.. And local cookie dough ice cream...cold drinks..everything was very good.
So, tomorrow we are going to try and out run Titan the storm heading our way. Should be home by early afternoon, if all goes well.
Hope everybody had a good day and the rest of the weekend goes well!
Our adventure is almost over, but we will start another one soon, as we head back to New Mexico for Grandson's birthday and other happenings!

Rosy & Janice

Rosy - we're glad to hear you're almost home and should get there before the storm's arrival. Be safe, stay warm. Hopefully we are running out of snow storms for this year - Spring is just around the corner. :wave4:

Big Dog - nice to know you're feeling better & that you and Miles are, "...on the road again". ThumbUp

Big Dog, we will be passing by you tomorrow. A few miles away. We will be heading north 395 to 90..495..95...Spaulding Turnpike..
So close, yet so far away. Buds on trees in Woodbridge, VA...Take heart Cheri, Warren, Leo, and Bozo, so many signs of spring not far away.. Hopefully winter will break soon, now that we will be home! LOL
Janice was saying she feels clastiphobic driving in the Northeast compare to the West, where you can look for miles and miles and maybe see a car once in a while..driving in NYC is like a mini Daytona 500...
Big Dog, I hate to say this, but one rig passed us, like he was late for supper...then a few miles down the road a bear was taking a bite out of his wallet! We had some speeders go by us and Janice and I said, WOW, but they all got caught.
So, have a great day tomorrow everybody as we travel North!

Rosy & Janice

Good morning folks! Looks like most snow will be pushed south over south NJ. Good luck Warren! This has been some winter! :gah:

Bummer - looks like we're on the line between terrible to the south and lousy to the north. Outlook currently is 6" to 10". Worst part is the temperature outlook is to remain cold all week. My wait "until it melts" strategy for snow removal, may require "re-thinking". :D

Hey...hey..we are home! Our adventure is done for a while, till we hit the road again in a few weeks.
Big Dog, hope you are nice and cozy with Miles at your side. Big load next week?
Leo, the Canadian robins are in NH, eating all the berries in our trees, never knew robins ate berries till a few years ago a big flock flew into the tree and started eating berries. We have a mountain ash in the front lawn. So, maybe spring in coming soon!
Bozo, hope you make your flight. If you don't, you told them so, but they wouldn't listen.
Warren, give it a shot, I am sure if you wait till June all the snow will be gone, if not, it was one hell of a winter! LOL
Spiritdream, hold tight Gal, spring is coming. Unlike Big Dog, I make no promiseses!
Hope everybody has a great day!

Rosy & Janice

Rosy, Glad you folks are home safe and sound. Was outside doing a few things on our cars and trike while waiting for snow to arrive. Well, it's here! :gah:

Rosy, glad that you are home! I had some crazy lady follow me around the Wal-Mart lot in Sturbridge this afternoon....it was Cheri, aka SpiritDream. Talk about a small world.

How could I not? I go to back out of my spot at Stop & Shop, look in my rearview mirror, and see Big Dog's rig rolling by....I just gotta follow and say HI! It's ok, though - there's only two truckers I follow like that, and I'm married to the other one. ;)

Rosy, glad you're both home safe & sound! Again, sorry for the events that extended your trip, but at least you were with your family during this time! Big hugs for you & Janice!!

Leo - do NOT send that stuff north!! PLEASE!!! We're running out of room in the yard to put the stuff!

They actually cancelled my Monday morning flight this afternoon. Wimps. Sat on hold for 2 hrs & 1 min trying to get through to my travel agency. Nothing available until Tues. SOMEBODY is getting billed for my wasted time. What does my company and the customer think they are? Dianne? If people listened to me, the world would be a much better place. At least for me!:qpnmt:

Oh yeah, the snow is now down graded for my area, so my office will probably be open.

Oh No Lucky, we went through AL, do you think we will catch what you have! LOL
Big Dog, you have to watch out for women who love truckers...they will track you down, even in a parking lots! LOL
Big Dog, what does your rig look like in case we see it on the road?
No snow yet here in Dover, but I heard the worse is coming.
Nana, where are you? Are you still in the sun shine state?
Well kids, have a nice evening!

Rosy & Janice

Mornin - our 5 to 8" ended up being 4" of snow on top of a little ice. Wind is whipping up some 2' drifts. Hope this is the last one, everyone here is ready for spring!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing here today in NH. Titan decided to go the other way, let's hope so.
Truck is buried, Mini is buried, and most of the parking area is full of snow. Neighbor said you couldn't see the Mini after the snow storms it was buried. So, Warren, can't wait till Spring, have to shovel the drive to get the vehicles out. At least the Soul is in a garage in Epping. My cousin was to bring it to the park & ride when we came back January 6 from New Mexico, but that never happened.
Need to pay bills today, so I may take my Dad's car, which I have been driving since December 8th. It is the only vehicle not in snow.
TT Land have a nice day!

Rosy & Janice

Gettin plenty of snow here in Central VA. Started very early this morning and it's supposed to continue into the evening. Snow shovels are ready again, lol.

6 days to Daylight Savings Time and 16 days to spring... The end of winter is near. Our motorcycle trike is ready for Texas adventure next month. Hooray!

Leo, we traveled through Texas, and at some points, make sure you keep your fuel tank as full as possible at all times. Gas at times is far in between.
The country side is beautiful with plenty of what are they growing here, cotton, peanuts, fruits, or other crops. Wind mill farms go for ever in some places. Cotton fields for as long as you can see. WOW
Some roads you can fall asleep for a half hour and wake up still on the road, straight as an arrow!
You will enjoy Texas, we did. Who is going on this adventure with you? Is Jeanette going?

Rosy
