Being only a 1 season owner so far of a 2010 Triglide, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a Video on the Web that shows you how to check and do the 10,15,20thousand mile checks and maintenance on ones Trike (Triglide)?:cxtv::Coffee:

Never heard of such a DVD but do know that the dealerships get service videos from the Mothership. Get friendly with your service guys and see what they have. My guy lets me borrow 'em all the time. Haven't seen one specific to what you're asking.

Oh, and the ones I've gotten from him I've been able to copy. Ya know I haven't gotten any from him in some time now. Need to freshen my library.

Can't help you on a video. I did save this link that a dealer has on his website that someone posted on this forum or another that has a check list for mileage milestone services. I printed the 5000 mile off for my trike and between it and the shop manual, I went through it last week for my trike. Hope it helps:

Interesting. The 1000 mile service is the same checklist as the 50000 mile.

Go to YouTube and type in the search "harley maintenance videos".

You'll have to weed out some that are BS, but you can generally find some that can help you out.

I'm fairly new to this myself. Just thought there would be more to check or replace at 50000 miles - similar to a car. Guess not.

All of the things you check as you go through each service checks & adjusts a lot of things along the way to the 50,000mi mark. Like adjusting the drive belt. If you adjusted it at the last service, you most likely will only have to check it for wear & not have to adjust. Although you always check to see if it needs adjustment.
I always check many more things than what is on the list for that service period. Just make sure to check the things on the list at a minimum. Don't be afraid to check everything else also. Always check fasteners for tightness. If you do move a fastener that has lock-tite, re-do the lock-tite & re-torque. Most places will use the blue lock-tite (med strength). Don't be afraid to use it on most bolts. There are a few places to use the red high strength. But only a few, it is considered permanent.
Always check for wiring rubbing on things & also if the wiring is subjected to heat check for cracks & move away from heat if possible.
Just a few things to keep you busy when you are just standing there admiring that machine. There is always something to do other than wash & wax !
I don't really think you could make a good video on something like that. Just use good common scents ! And never be afraid to ask if you don't understand something ! There is a lot of knowledge on this forum. Read & search first, then ask, It is never a problem! Someone on here will be able to help ya !
