Lift Kit

Yes have a lift kit on our 14. Sometimes pipes scraped on driveway to gas station down the street. After the lift kit never scrape lowered air pressure in rear shocks rides much smoother. Not sure if it is me more used to the trike or the kit but it does seem to steer a littler easier. Added bonus the trailer is level now it was a little nose down before the kit.

It takes a little longer to put on than previous year trikes. You have to take off 2 more bolts that hold the park brake bracket but well worth the time & money.

Just a quick question ... does this addition void the ESP??
Like the hitch but some dealers will still honor the warranty. Just don't want to end up in BFE and have them say we have a little problem here.

I have them on my 11 T/G [22K] And in my opinion if you didn't tell the dealer you have them on your trike, They will never know'.. And like said by moe55' they do make the tri steer easier.ThumbUp

I also have a 14 trike with the lift kit. I agree if you don't say anything they will never know because it looks exactly like the stock bracket.
I am wanting to put Vance and Hines dresser duals with 4" rineharts on my trike. Want to find out if they will fit with the lift kit? Any one else done this yet? I know Vance and hines sells an adaptor for the trike.

Dresser duals or Power Duals??

scuba 1954 I have a 2011 triglide with vance&hines header pipes with 3" rhineharts and today I put the lift kit on the trike and it all worked out. did not get to ride it yet but they say it will not hit curbs. I think they are correct, it lifted the back to where it look level and just had to put 20 lbs. pressure in the shocks compared to 45-50 lbs. I think you said you want the 4" rhineharts let me tell you the 3" have a fine sound. do not let me steer you wrong but I like my set up it sounds great, also every one knows that the trike is hot but I think this will let some heat go under and get out better and faster taking the heat away from me and my rider. sure hope this helps cajunrider

I have a 2011 with the V&H Power Duals and the High Output mufflers. Had them on from day one and they used to scrap all the time. When Dennis came out with the lift kit I got a set and never looked back. No more scraping and steers a hell of a lot better. Swear by them, and the dealer would never know they aren't stock brackets. Thanks Dennis!!

I have the exact same setup....No scraping.... And my dealer installed Dennis's lift kit and now carry them in stock in the parts dept..., sell 'em to TG buyers all the time.

My dealer does the samething as yours Trent.

He installed them right off the show room floor.

You have a great dealer in Jamestown HD, the ding bats at Erie would be blowing the whistle and dropping every last dime on you.

Have a Happy New Year.

Yup,.... your right about the dealer! That's why I drive a little extra and didn't buy anything from Erie. Sometimes I have a little
problem understanding people bashing their dealers cause I don't have that. It took me awhile to catch on....

Happy New Year to you and your Dad also. Don't ya just luv the snow storm we are havin???

Oh yeah I'm just enjoying the living heck out of it while I'm at work, I've been out in it a few times so far tonight.

I am enjoying the weather from my recliner. In a little while I will have to get dressed and clear the side walks and drive way for guests this afternoon. Probably will not leave the house tomorrow unless I have to. Happy New Year.

There is no way in hell I'd take my trike out in this crap!! All the salt and slosie crap, snow, slick roads and temps in the teens and single digits. That's if I had my trike. It's still in the shop waiting for someone to work on. Its been in there for two months so far.

HANDLING

This lift kit hows the handling in curves ? This 17 trigld I have gets choppy in some of the tighter curves. Hard to keep tracking. is the ride any better then a lumber wagon it is now ?
