Warming up nicely. In 40's already. Adjusted shifter on VW and heading out to meet The Boys for some bowling in afternoon. Should be able to make all travels on 1 tank of gas.

WOW, in the mid 50s here in southern Ohio. I am not complaining. It can stay like this until March, then warm up. I think I am solar powered. I always seem to have more energy when the sun is shining.
You kids behave and play nice today, ya'hear?

What type of bowling do you do, Bozo, ten pin, candle pin, or duck pin? I use to bowl ten and candle pin in NH.
Hey, enjoy your ride today and be safe!
Hope Diane is feeling better, like Leo is!

Candle Pin? Duck Pin? No clue what you are talking about. I was 10 pin standard American bowling. First time since accident. Legs seem to have held together fine. My aim seemed to be off though. Took nice scenic ride there on back roads and highway back home. First viewing by most of the guys of VW. They all like it and approve.

Glad you had a great day with the guys and your ride was enjoyable.
Google duck pin and it will show you all the types of bowling pins used in the USA.
Have a good evening everybody!

Ahhhh, candle and duck pin bowling. Ancient form from before real bowling was invented. Or the invention of the drill, apparently. Balls are smaller with no holes. Mostly practiced in New England.

You are correct Bozo about bowling in our area. We still have candle pin, but remember Dover was established in 1620, so, it goes with our age! LOL
Rain today in NE, hope it helps get rid of the snow, but I am sure by the time it gets to Dover, it will be be sleet or snow.
Hope everybody has a great day!

Good after morning Folks :Coffee:
Low 40s and light drizzle here in the hills of southern Ohio at the moment.
Drizzles are much preferred over Flurries.

The cold rain has left me bored. So busy looking up dates. My hometown of Brooklyn had the 1st settlers in 1524. I mostly grew up in Centerport. Area founded about 1700. Located in Huntington township. Founded 1653. I now live in Coram. Founded 1677. All these towns kept up with the times and have REAL bowling.
As a side note. If anybody remembers a top bowler named Andy Varapapa, from 1950's. Not realizing who he was at the time. I used to get bowling advice from him when I was young. He played at same lanes in Huntington that I rode my bicycle to in the mid 70's.

Good evening folks and a belated Merry Christmas from Scotland... I do hope Santa brought you everything you asked for and filled your stockings (not with a leg in of course ;)LOL)
I do hope this email finds all my triker friends well and ready for a great and prosperous new year...ThumbUp

BB - as a kid, I sometimes watched Pro Bowling on TV. I remember Andy Varapapa. Watching those guys was amazing, but it never seemed to help my scoring average. Now, I haven't bowled in years (not to mention other recreational activities). :D

Mornin friends :Coffee:

What, Veronica, not 75 and sunny in your world this morning?

35* and sunshine at 11:00 here in CenTex. Just woke up. NCIS marathon on tv, getting less stroke-y (teeny improvements) every day. Still can't grasp anything, but I will. Have a great day, y'all!

Now that is just WONDERFUL news!! You keep making those teeny improvements! :D

Blondie Gal,
Hey, you need any help, we are in New Mexico, so we can stop by and dig up your flowers and take them to New Hampshire with us. OH, that's not what you had in mind, well, how about I come over and cook you a nice New England style home cook meal for you?
Here is to you! Keep up the good work and please keep us posted on your progress. We want to see you riding the trike before summer rolls around.
Thinking of you!

Feels like I might have missed some critical posts BG. So best wishes on recovery from me and Dianne. And as far as the grasping thing, don't go blaming that on a stroke. Sounds like a Blonde thing. Oh wait, you mean grabbing with hands. Never mind.:qpnmt:
