Don't think I'll have time for brunch after church, gotta get the pex tubing down in case the concrete guys show up tomorrow. I've got a good portion of the first of two rolls down. Each roll is 300 ft. Did you ever hear the term "Like a monkey £%#}{]* a football??? Yeah, try working a frozen 300 ft. roll of pex tubing! You're trying to hold the roll far enough ahead of your zip tying and trying to tie the stuff to the reinforcement mesh all at the same time you're trying not to kink the stuff! I'll have help this morning, so hopefully it will go a little better.

Hah-ha Bozo, but we did have to stop our round Friday because a flock of turkeys were in the fairway and we didn't want to hit one of them. 2 holes later we had to stop again, when a doe came bouncing up the fairway and would not leave. Gee Nana almost like Florida's wildlife.
Bozo, Big Dog, and everybody else who is traveling this Thanksgiving, please be safe and enjoy your day with relatives! Eat as much as you like, never mind what the doctor says. LOL
Hope everybody's home projects go off as scheduled and safe.

Blondie Gal, how did you and yours make out in that cold front storm which rolled in Texas?
Wow, some parts got hit hard!
Hope everything is good with you.

Mornin' folks. 34° at the moment. Raining, sort of, but supposed to get worse later on and overnight. Really don't think it will be as bad as the weather folks are predicting.

Son is driving on I 20/84 outside of Abaline and there is ice on the road. Not a very good day to drive in some parts of Texas.
Hope it gets better as he is heading West and the front is heading East.

Rosy/Janice, it's STILL cold and icy here, cold rain all day today - and I mean COLD! Staying inside, watching our beloved Steelers! Due to stay like this another couple of days, then back to the forties by Turkey Day. So much to do to get ready for the family, never enough time. Wanted to plant some pansies, but it's too cold to dig in the dirt!

Hey, cuz! Hey, Wolfie! Y'all staying warm in all this mess? Right now, 33 degrees, rain on the edge of sleet, more predicted. Oh, dear! Even Fort Hood will have delayed reporting till 11:00 tomorrow morning, hoping it'll clear up a little. We Texas folks have no idea what to do/ how to dress/ how to drive! Kitty and Miss Piggy just curled up inside fleecy blankets staying warm. (He and she are both spoiled rotten!). Miss all of you whole bunches! Enjoy your turkey, KW! Think of us on Thursday, Wolfie! Our best to everyone's families, too! (Jake, are you and Kathryn going to join us for the Rally next year?)

Cold here in NH, 21F and very...very windy.
BG, know how you feel, been there and done that...It is coming sooner than expected for us, and once it is here, it will stay or a long time.
Have a great evening everybody.

OHHHH yes a beautiful predawn morning here as well. 17 degrees & Clear blue skies match the color of myThumbUp

Well, your ThumbUp should retire and become a snowbird then, Veronica. 65º right now, and I'm heading out to walk my morning mile :)

Good morning to all on the site! 19* sunny degrees this morning! Hope everyone has a great day! Remember today is actually "hump day"!

OK, I'll bite, why hump day?
Good morning everyone.
Enjoy your walk Nana, Janice will be doing her video exercise with Miranda Esmonde White this cool morning 22F here in NH.
BG, 8" of snow in NM. How did you fair out with the massive cold front which came through. No planting till the ground unfreezes.

Ok, usually "hump day" is your Wedensday in your work week, two days 'till Friday or the weekend. Following so far? Well this week we end our work week (traditionally) on Wed. Because of Thanksgiving Day Thursday! So.... Three days before would be your "hump day"! Got it? LOL

Rosy, this is a highly technical question regarding hump day, possibly requiring advanced mathematics. :D Actually, as we all know, hump day is usually Wednesday as it is the middle of the week and you are getting "over the hump". Using the three day work week in this example, seems to me hump day would be Tuesday, the middle of the three day week... OR did I incorrectly interpret the results calculated from using the Mathematical (sub) Theorem, on getting humped? ;)

Hi folks! Every day is a holiday! :) Got back from our Bahamas cruise yesterday. We had a nice time. Was a shock to see the pool deck salted when we reached NYC.

Aaahhhh. 10" of snow up in the mountain. Can be seen and not felt. Getting into the 50's today here north of Tucson.
Missing my trikes back home. Double tarped with extra bunch cords and straps on then. Looks like a Nor'Easter is heading that way. Raining a little here when I arrived Sat night.
And I agree that Tues is Hump Day this week. But who really cares. I say don't have a cow over a camel. Have I mentioned I've ridden camels a couple times? Also approached wild ones in the Sinai desert.

I rode camels in Botswana as a kid, Bozo. And I'd like to visit the Sinai Desert. So we've got a couple of things in common…. :xzqxz: ….Scary, isn't it!

WOW Nana, I really wouldn't pass that around that you and Bozo have something in common, you know what thy say about "association". LOL
Hurray, Christmas shopping is done! Everybody on our list is finished!!! No, you didn't get anything, you were not good this year.
Have a nice day!

Warren my pea brain is all awash from what Firea100 and Bozo said. Remember people, not everybody has Thursday or Friday off, some people have to work, so for them, Wednesday is still humped day!
Leo & Jeannette welcome home!
Bozo, where are your keys so I can take a spin. No sense in having the TG sit there while you are away! Promise I will wash it after I finished.

My theory is that if you have to work this Thurs & Fri then you not only have a normal Hump Day but that you work for a hump. :gah::qpnmt:

Good morning to all! Gotta get grandson #one up early this AM. He normally gets the bus to pre-school at 1150 hrs. Today however he goes to the AM class and has to be ready for the bus at 0735 hrs. He normally rises between 0730-0800 hrs. so I've got the tv up a little louder and his door open to try to ruffle his feathers a little! 30* and still dark here. Have a great day all!
Larry in East China Mi.
