How many are snowbirds on here ?

Having retired 2 months ago the wife and I are looking for a winter area we can ride our Triglide and turn into Snowbirds. Arizona is one of the areas we are trying to find some info on...Any suggestion or sites would be appreciated.

HI: My wife and I have been going to Arizona since I retired in 2000. We were staying in our 38 ft motorhome most of the time. But now we sold that and were renting condo's till last yr. We were on a morning walk when we ran across this resort. I guess my wife knew it was there. i didn't have a clue that it was that close to us ( two blocks). Look this up on your PC. It's called SUNFLOWER RESORTS. Its In El Mirage, Arizona. Now if you never heard of that. It's right across the street from Sun City, AZ. Mkae sure your looking at the resort in SURPRISE, AZ. You can see pictures and also resort homes for $ale. We rented one yr there. Then last yr we bought a place. IT's unreal how much they have going on there. Entertainment 5 afternoons a week. And its all free along with a small restaurant that sells burger and beer. If you have any questions. PM me or e mail me any time. They have 1200 homes and pets are welcomed. It's such a fun and friendly place. That's why we bought into it.

Thanks RT for the info... we are looking at taking a week and fly out to Arizona to check the area out in January or February. A lot depends on the next few weeks, looking into knee replacement surgery...
