Yep, even here in Tennessee, the "rumblings" have started........

The wonderful folks in Clinton Township Michigan have approved a Milage for police and firefighters! This was sorely needed income to bring back laid off firefighters and police officers. As a retired firefighter from Clinton Township I am proud to say THANK YOU on behalf of all of the police and firefighters that protect you.

Things are still hard in parts of our great country. I still don't believe many politicians know how hard things are, or if they do, they are turning a blind eye!
Dover, wasn't hit as hard, but we also had our knocks. I tell Janice I realize how bad things are by looking out the living room window. In good times the street would be full of traffic, people going here or there, even now there are fewer cars on the road, so people are still hard hit and saving their pennies, no useless trips.
It seems the grocery store is busy at times when pay checks, pension checks, or social security checks come in, other than that, they are slow.
I also told Janice it would take 5 years for things to get back to normal, well, it has been 5 years and we are not there as of yet!
Hope everybody has a great day and pray things will be better for some of our friends which have been hit harder than others!

Harley is tooting them for urban use in cities, where gridlock is happening. If you live in the city, then buy a water cooled Harley.
Do you think they will make the big Harleys water cooled?

60 deg yesterday. Took the fleet out for a ride. Today as warm but getting much needed rain..

My Mom has been in a Nursing Home Re-hab for about 3 weeks now...yesterday She spiked a fever of 103+, heart rate went over 200, blood pressure at 196 over 123...had to be rushed by ambulance to the Hospital....spent all day there until about 8:30 last night....got Her stabilized, checked in, and determined a urinal tract infection is the culprit.....probably 3 to 4 day stay, then looking like maybe a "full-time residence" at the Nursing Home.....
