Well, I made it home about 10:45 this morning, I was classified as non-essential so yes I'm now jobless until the government re-opens. Training has been halted and all vacation and sick time has been suspended. First time in 33 years I was considered non-essential so this is new territory for me, we will have to wait and see how this plays out. I did notice this morning a statement the all retiree's will continue to receive their money, so maybe I can usse this to talk Sherry into allowing me to retire!!!! See always a silver lining somewhere.

Bill - according to Barbara, I've been "non-essential" for years and I'd better watch my step... :laugh:
How ATC is non-essential is beyond me. :Shrug:

Warren, after completing my live ATC time I was lucky and moved into the office. My job now is training new people that arrive to the facility, so someone high on the hill determined that portion of the job non-essential!! ATC's that are still working live traffic will not get paid until the government re-opens either.

Wow! Didn't know that Home Depot had a fuel stop! Don't have any like that in the Southeast Michigan area, that I know of?

I only know about "Michigan on Three" Although I haven't seen a lot of activity on it. I'm up in East China, North of Marine City, South of St. Clair. Along the river.

Send a private message to retdpd (Doug Polancih). He is one of the contact persons for our riding club around Michigan and frequently organizes a group ride or activity with a number of wonderful trike riders. Mike and I rode up to meet them on a camping weekend a couple of years ago and had a blast with them.

Well, I hate to say it too, they should all be fired!!!!! If any of us worked like they do we all would have been fired! I did manage to get a haircut yesterday on the way home, so it was not a complete loss. Gonna go login and tally up the club bike raffle tickets today, the raffle is coming up next month on the 9th.

Good morning everyone!
Guess what BG, the fall colors were not very good in Maine. We have more color here in NH in the swamps than they do. I took a couple of pictures, but not as many as I wanted if the leafs had turned.
Going back up north to Maine to Red's, in Wiscasset to get the best lobster roll in New England. Over a pound of lobster in each roll. Leo, next time you come up to see your sister-in-law, let me know and we will take you there. If I can, I will post a picture of the lobster roll.

Speaking of British football, when I was working in the UK, the company had a box and we would go watch Coventry play. The few matches I was there for, they took two spectators out with heart attacks. I guess the Brits really get into their football games, WOW!
Still like to watch it on the Telly once in a while.
