Just checking in before I leave for work. It's 9:54 and 80 degrees and HUMID ! Got my call that my parts are finally in. But I had NO chance to go get them today. Not that I wanted to be out in the garage in 90 degree heat with the Sun coming in my garage door ! So after a nap after work in the am. I'll head over and pick up my parts then head back home. Maybe Just maybe I'll be on the road again on Thursday afternoon ThumbUp. Ok have a great evening and it's almost time to get out of here. See you in the AM :D

Well as luck would have it everything went off without a hitch. Sherry jumped from a King Air from 14,000 feet, the video guy recorder her so she has a keepsake! Even got to bring it home with us today. As for me I stood on the ground waiting for her to return. Cant see jumping out of a good airplane :)

I'm with Ya' there...it ain't happenin'.....:D

Good Wednesday Morning TRIKE TALK/TOI Friends...went out looking at the "BLUE MOON" earlier...really nice.....ThumbUp

Good morning everyone! Sitting at our local McDonalds sipping coffee with the " towns elders"! Not having grown up in the area, I feel fortunate to be included in their "club". A lot of information is cleared-started here every morning! Anyway, 75* and a little humid, going up to mid- 80's today. Have a great day!

Mornin' friends!

Rick, you'll have those parts on and be riding in no time :D

[COLOR="Red"Good morning everyone. Just got off of work.]You are Soooo Right Nana. Going to take a short Nap this morning. Should be up around noonish. Then head over to the HD shop & pick up my parts. Should be ready to ride Thursday afternoon.ThumbUppepperpepper

Checking In Again....no rain until I got ready to ride to my Shop from Tullahoma and then.....yep, You guessed it...all the way here.....:xzqxz:

Checking in.....Horse vet here at 8 AM, ten days of antibiotics..check, tractor won't start, battery smoking....check, power company shows up to turn off watch lights that I didn't call to have done....check Nursing home to visit MOM.....check. Now on to the rest of the day!!!

I got my morning chores all caught up and am taking a break and having a bite of lunch as i check in here. You kids behave, ya'hear :behave:

My goodness, Joan; you ARE having a busy day!

Also forgot.....one 15 acre field mowed, one five acre mowed, front and back yard got mowed, two half acre paddocks up in front got mowed, fed horses, let them out for the night, refilled their stalls with hay, water and grain for the AM.
But to be honest, the big fields get done with a huge batwing mower, only about 45 mins for a 15 acre, about 15 to 20 for a five acre.
Yes, Rev Ray, I am supposed to be retired...LOL:Shrug: Me thinks I need a job.....

Glad the rally is on Sat. Today is 97 in the shade . 3 weeks ago it raind like the great flood. Our timing is good.

Goodness, Joan, your schedule makes me feel like a slug. Maybe I am!

Doc told me last August that I'd be walking well by Christmas; he just didn't say WHICH Christmas . . . Still limping like a WWII vet . . .

I'm still limping too from my broken knee. It hates hot humid days, but loves cool rainy ones....what's up with that?????? I still don't walk enough, I drive my truck down the lane to my barn and go from that to the tractor. I do have to walk my horses to pasture though and that is a good thing. They have learned to mince their steps along with me..... This limping does suck, doesn't it??
That's not my normal schedule......playing catch up.

My normal routine involves going from bed to kitchen to recliner to kitchen to recliner to mailbox to recliner to kitchen to bed. Occasionally I hit the grocery store and ride a h/c cart. I can drive, but can't walk anywhere when I get there! I watch John plant pretty flowers and watch him mow the yard. Getting to that 'elderly' category sucks.

I really feel for you Nancy.....that must be the pits for sure. George wants to go to our house in Maine in Sept. I'm not sure I can stand the plane ride, not being able to stretch my knee, plus the house in Maine has lots of steps and the steps to the beach number about 20.

skuut, it doesn't just happen overnight. Well, mine did and Joan's did, but one eases gradually into disability. Surgery in my case, broken knee bone in Joanie's. mostly you sit a little longer, watch tv a little later, eat dinner a little earlier, move a little slower, reach for something before you realize it's harder to lift or stretch or clean. And I'm pretty sure it'll sneak up on you, too, sooner or later . . . Hope it's much, much later!

Good evening everyone. Just checkin in for the night. Just got up from my nap before work. Got home this morning around 6:45 am. Had my coffee & went to bed! Got up at noon showered and hit the Harley shop to pick up my order ( FINALLY) ThumbUp. Got home about an hour later. Couldn't help myself. I started to work on the bike while it was still light out. Didn't get a whole lot into it. When my buddy next door rolled up. Guess we talked for over an hour about the New Harley's. By then it was dinner time. Then a nap before work. This is my Friday. So when I get off in the morning. I'm done till Sunday night. I'll start back up on the bike after morning coffee yahooooooooooooooooo :10
