You're right Nana, thinking fall for dinner. We went to local place and I had turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Yum-Yum, they are the best in the area.
Ham, hot dogs, and bean supper at a local church this Saturday, Including home made desserts. Hey, lobster is cheaper than good lean hamburger, Janice will love this since she is the lobster person in this household!
Just got back from my Hannigan dealer and I need a caliper, rotor, and break pads on the left side. Caliper was sticking and caused wear on the rotor, so we are going to replace the whole thing.
Have a great day everybody!

Yikes Rosy, gotta take it easy on her, you only have 8 days before Torrington and if you are lucky enough to ride with me again you may need to use those brakes :) Better fix'em now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmmmmm..... love this weather! It was mid 50s last night and will be mid 70s today. It is unheard of for middle of August, but I'll take it! I've got "Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls" simmering in the crockpot for dinner later -- it feels like a perfect day for a fall meal :)

YUM !!!! my kinda weather and my kinda eatin. ThumbUp

oh oh. Not that I haven't bored you enough with my New ride & buy a two wheeler again. Now I found the CHAT ROOM :cxtv:. Now I can get on here and bug everyone too. Oh yeah. I'm in heaven now!:D Just finished up put the Harley back together. Took the bags off and the windshield trim on also. Then thought it would be a good idea to straight up my roll away tool box ;). I found tools and stuff from my brand new then 1988 dresser :xzqxz:. And some Chrome nuts & bolts also. Then labeled my sockets and took all 36 screw drivers out and clean up that drawer also. Women won't understand all this. Its a Man thing I think! Just like SUPERMAN has his Fortress of Solitude. So do I ThumbUp It's called the GARAGE ThumbUp. i DON'T CARE WHAT MY WIFE DOES TO THE HOUSE!! Flowers all over the place pretty little things all over the bedroom. BUT the garage is MINE ! No kids bikes, or or toys were ever permitted . Most of the time it was just 2 Harley's in a 3 car garage. Now its a little different. The wife for the 1st time in her life gets to park in the 1st stall. Nice of me huh? Not really. Its just easier now. No 36 ft Motorhome in the driveway or trucks Or trailers for the bikes. Ok maybe I stirred things up a bit. Time for a late lunch. I'll BE BACK :D

I have some new news for my friends on this great website. I am the job co ordinator for the Twin Towers Memorial in Hermansville Michigan. We were granted approval and received two pieces of steel from the WTC in NY .We are working towards building a memorial to house the steel plus other artifacts that people have donated. The building with be in the shape of the Pentagon since it was attacked that same day. But the building will only be 20 feet wide but located 3 blocks from a local school so students can read about 9/11 then go to this memorial and actually touch steel that came from the WTC. We are having our first annual poker run with proceeds going to the building fundon Saturday September 7th, just short of the 11th anniversary of the attacks. I am inviting all my trike talk cohorts, if you can see a way to come to the U.P.and see some beautiful scenery plus help a good cause, We would be forever grateful. Any questions, let me know Thanx Bud.

They are ordering the parts as we speak. 1988 CRX Honda parts are the ticket.
They told me not to worry, there is plenty of break pads and rotor left so there is no problem, but the shop wants to get it done before we head to CT. I thought that was great of them.
See you in a few days!

Hey B/G we drove to Boyd & it rained very hard & it is only 6 miles from Keeter, however we only got total of 7 tenths. I'll take it & thank god for it.

Just talked to someone selling a VW trike chopper. Maybe 25 miles from my house. Has a HD Springer front end. Says it was registered in NY as a Honda. He can't explain that. He's retiring and moving to PA and has too many cars and bikes and is getting rid of stuff before move. For price he's asking, would make good backup ride since I have proven untrustworthy on 2-wheels.
Interestingly, when I told the wife, she had no objections, just wanted to know when I would get rid of 2-wheeler. Sounded like permission to proceed. Will check it out after orthopedics doc visit tomorrow.
