Looks like a clear ride over this way tomorrow OB. If you leave by six, you should be in this area around 4. Ride safe!!!

Not much better here...my Thermometer reads 93 right now with really oppressive humidity....."Typical Tennessee Summer" though.....;) ThumbUp

Hasn't been a real good afternoon. Nasty thunderstorm rolled through about noon today and a bolt of lightning hit close to our house. About 1:00 today I received a call from a sobbing 13 year old grand daughter. "Papaw can you come home and bury my Bristy". Appears that her 12 year old yellow lab was out in the yard when the lightning struck.
Broke her little heart and mine too when she asked me to take her to the woods and bury her deep enough that the coyotes wouldn't find her. Life is short, enjoy the ride and be thankful for each day.

Mrs. Bikerbozo has been doing good. We are just West of Indianapolis right now for night. Another 400 mile day maybe tomorrow and then a short 125 or so to Eureka on Sat. I think we can beat you. I'll save you a seat pool side (or umbrella side, depending on weather).
Stopped in Indy HD earlier. They mentioned someone from Scottdale, AZ area was in last week and stuck with their TG for a week after tranny crapped out. They couldn't give a name but think he is heading to rally also. So if someone shows on Black TG cursing, that's a good guess for who it is.
We had a little rain going towards Columbus. Legs got wet. Not even worth rain gear yet. The sun rest of way.

And i know you did just exactly what that little girl wanted and gave her a big hug to make it all better.

Tell her Bristy crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is running and playing with Harley-dog, and now he's got whole bunches of friends to play with. I understand her grief all too well.

Oh Keith, my heart aches for your granddaughter. Bristy is a friend she'll never forget!

Morning all. Can't say "good" yet. Hotels smoke alarm went off falsely at 3:19am. Its rare I sleep solid through night. This was one of those nights. Sleeps gone for me now. I will just contiue to ramble. Blah, blah, blah.
