We have a rear spoiler on the trunk lid. remote power points in the trunk for charging and jump starting. Several pouches attached inside the cockpit for glasses gloves etc. CB radio added. 2 accessory power outlets on the dash. I rewired the lights so that the all the lights front and rear and the running come on with the switch. and a Zook's dual exhaust system.

A switch... It's not the sort of thing one thinks of, like "do dads", "trinkets" or "bling", but it just might save you from a severe headache and much inconvenience, should your Stallion's OEM temperature sensor fail. The OEM temperature sensor, which is found by removing the right rear wheel, is located in the coolant line. It is nothing more than a switch, turning on the fan motor when the coolant temperature approaches it's high turn on temperature and turns off the fan motor, when the coolant temperature cools down to normal. My switch was electrically installed in the sensor's circuit, providing another path to electrical ground, should the temperature sensor ever fail. You'll know this failure, by looking at your Stallion's temperature gauge. I've had two temperture sensors fail during my ownership. The first time during TT's Rally in the Valley while riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 miles from my motel, in Maggie Valley, NC. To make matters worse, I had no cell phone signal. Took about 4 hours to make it back to the motel.:AGGHH: The 2nd time was less stressful, as I was only a few miles from home. I thank Ted, aka Gorilla, for this idea. Dont really have a lot. I have added upgraded speakers; Booster amp in the trunk: Sierra CB and intercom: Underglow lighting and custom paint.
Just for info, I had a Utopia back rest on my wing that came with a pouch on the back of it. The pouch works well with a little velco on the side next to the hand brake for small goodies.

Well let's see while at the dealer added two power ports on dash, remote terminals in the trunk, LEDs under neath, and reupholstered the seat. Then in Florida added four, 1" tweeters, 2 in front and 2 in back above passenger arm rests, replaced factory speakers with 6.5". All of the speakers are JL, and are powered by a 400 watt JL amp. Sirius satellite radio. Dual exhaust, from Zook.

Then just to prove it could be done put in a Garmin remote GPS, in the trunk, along with a back up camera above the liscense plate. Now I know you are wondering where the display for those two toys are.....How about a 4"tv monitor mounted in the steering wheel, where the air bag would be if it had one poof !

These are great ideas. I also added the battery posts in the trunk after having to crawl around underneath to jump after my hubby left the lights on all day! We did not have to remove the tire thankfully.

My other small tip is that I added some D-ring clips to the black plastic shell in 6 places near the rear seat. My mechanic used pop rivets to secure them. I use bungee cords to strap in bulky cargo like a pack of paper towels or a zippered tote bag from the grocery store. I thought I was going to have to sew a tab to the D-rings but then found some black mesh dog collars at the hardware store (like a woven belt). I trimmed them down to about 1 inch of cloth to have something to rivet through. You can keep them from fraying by using something called Fray check that you find at a fabric store. It's like clear nail polish. I have found this to be helpful in expanding my cargo capabilities!

I added black stripes and chrome trim to the outside of the bike. Then I placed additional speakers up front and above the arm rest in the rear. LED lights all over and I really like the ones I added close to the drivers feet area. I have about a 12"strip of white LEDs facing down on each side which lights up the area at night which makes it alot easier getting in and out when it's dark. I've added about 250 Red and Blue LEDs under the bike which gives it a nice glow going down the road. I still haven't added the CB yet, but I still plan on doing that sometime soon.

He be careful with those Red/Blue LEDs on while moving. In some states (like Florida) that is illegal. You can get a ticket and be made to remove them on the spot.

I have my LEDs on a switch with a remote so I can turn them off. I have riden several miles in Flordia without any problems but I don't ride that much after dark. I will try to remember that so I don't get a ticket, thanks for the infoThumbUp

I had over 1,000 LEDs on my Goldwing and have NEVER been pulled over because of the lights. I have had the LEDs on the Goldwing since 1995 and the bike was red and so was the
LEDs, drive respectfully and you won't have a problem with the Police

I put a rubber runner type material on the floor board to cover the screws etc. This gives it a cleaner look and makes is so much easier to clean up small rocks/sand that is tracked in. If need be, I just pour a little water on the mat and it all washes out the pedal area.

Here are my latest additions. I had to take my trike twice to the dealer over 100 miles away to fix some issues. So they sold me cheap two new accessories for my trike. They took the bumper off of a trade-in model they had. And the soft doors were brand new and also for that trade-in. Got them for $50 plus free install. I wasn't real sure I would use them. But I discovered some of the posts on here are correct about them keeping the heat from the heater inside the trike. So I will keep them on the rest of the winter. Probably take them off until late summer when the temps get over 100 (maybe). The heat doesn't usually bother me much since I am cold natured.

And the bumper will hopefully help protect my rear from someone backing into me. I hope....

Only other thing I want to figure out on my bike is to possibly ask around for a good radio boost of some sort. I live in a very hilly area of Texas and I can't pick up anything but one Country station. And I don't do Country.

hello all,in reference to "ridin sunshine" seeking a radio booster.i live in the ne ga mnts approx 75 miles from a good station-no problem with reception in my pick up truck(even 100 miles past the 75 miles). stallion radion can only pick up stations that are approx 20-40 miles away. i tried an antenna booster, tested a 6' antenna--no improvement! after extensive reasearch i have concluded & been told by audio "gurus" the problem is because the the stallions body is abs or f-glass which does not pick up radio signals as good as the metal body of a pickup/car.i will get an mp3 but for now just pop in a cd & turn up the volumn!!

Thank you Riverrat and Gorilla for your input. The only 2 stations within the 20-40 mile radius of my home town are country stations. My favorite stations programed on my Jeep radio are well over that mileage. So I guess my only option is to plug my iphone to it or play a CD. Radio is supposed to be compatible to satellite radio but I don't want to pay the subscription fee for it. I will probably stay away from the CD simply because I will have to keep pulling over to change it out or have to listen to same one over and over. At least I have over 800 songs loaded on my iphone.

I have heard that if you use a marine antenna for a boat it will work better because most boats are all fiberglass.Has anyone tried one?:Shrug:

I forgot I have one more goody that my HoneyBear is installing this afternoon. it is the pouch I bought two weeks ago. I'll post pictures when I see my trike next. lol Hoping he brings it to me at work this afternoon but then again he might keep it. I think he likes it better than his trike. lol

I use a MP3 and the part about it being fiberglass is the reason it doesn't get reception I don't know about. What is the difference in driving a Corvette, they are all fiberglass and I have never heard anything about their radios having problems. I agree that the radio in a Stallion does not have a very long range but why, I don't know.<img src="images/smilies/shrug.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Shrug" class="inlineimg" />

I have decided I want a dash cover. Only one I have seen has something like American Eagle of Flag or something. I would like something that I can chose the embroidery design. Have any of you seen one or a company that does such a thing? :Shrug:

In Refrence to the marine antenna. I replaced mine with one it did wonders for me. I just tucked it up into the wheel well by the radio.

radio reception- stallion.am/fm marine antenna works great! trike is in basement garage,three sides poured concrete walls,built into the mnt. & a mnt on the south side,door closed & receiving stations from atlanta/100 miles away, chattanooga,tenn & all surrounding areas. the stallion does not have a good"ground plane" because of the abs body. it may be overkill but i bought a 4ft heavy duty marine am/fm antenna(shakespear galaxy 5421xt).do not know if a regular dia. would hold up to highway speeds. best $ i found was from Islandmarine Electronics.com. will take a ride friday as it is supposed to be 50 up here in the mountains-not 28 like today. thanks alex

I added running lights, sport stripes, cushion for head rest with stallion embroidery of stallion and throughbred Motorsports, changed out speakers for kenwoods speakers with 2" tweeters on front, carpet front to back, floor mates, pockets, air deflectors (which works great), 400 power amp in trunk....cut windshield down....looking to make windshield mirrored...also electric trunk popper,.....2010 models came with a electric trunk switch that is not hooked up from factory......it is now....connected it to the inside light switch to open it....works great......:AllGood:

Sorry not sure where you can get one. I kind of think mine was a home build that happened to come to the dealer on a Stallion trade in.
