24k to much to spent on a 2000 Ultra Classic Lehmen Renagaed. I am new to the forum. It has been a wild ride but it is almost threw tires on the back 245/45/18 rebuilt moter to a 95 rebuilt transmission and a coustom paint job and coustom dinamics leds.zepplin air seat extended brakeand shifter and 5 degree rake and 11 apes. Should get it back end of August , ride ready looking like 24kart new I plan on keeping it and riding it tell I can't. Thanks Bigun

Welcome to the triker hangout....gotta be honest...even if you are in love with it, the price is not right! Add 3-4 grand and you can get a low mile triglide just a year or two old!!! And you always have to ask yourself-can I sell it for close to what I paid for it. Hope I am not raining on your parade, just tellin it as it is!:wave4::Shrug:

Had 54k on them I bought it at a auction 4,600.00 not running drove it 6k miles and it started knocking and the pulley spline Is what I was told two machanic told me the moter was bad I rode it tell it got loud than took it in

Na by my name you can tell I am a big boy well it will be like new and its payed for life is making memoriess so this sounding like another one for the books ha it will be nice it wont be the first time I have paid to much for something ha ha gone ride it like I stole it!!

My '01 Ultra with 9K and a matching escapade trailer was 16K. But I don't have a lot of custom work. Those goodies will take a little time. Time to made it my own. Big boy here as well. #335...#350 with the leg on. LOL.... Ride safe...

okay so it sounds like you have a total of that amount after buying and rebuilding. thats a different story then if you were paying that up front for a purchase. now its what you like so ride safe

Yes it is getting closer to being done, got in my second set of spade shape led lights for the trailer. Pick the bike up from the moter shop on Sunday and take it to the painter for Assembaly. And some more coustom touches.Will post photos as soon as it is completed.

You know that 2000 ultra was a nice bike I had one I traded for the Trigide ...
Now that you have it tricked out ride it tilll it drops..24 k is not bad since I see used ones sell for just as much for alot less bling on it..

And for the record there is no price that is too high.....or too low. I bought and sold cars and motorcycles for many years and my philosophy was that as long as both the buyer and seller were satisfied, the price was just right.



I also learned a long time ago that no matter what I bought, there was always someone that bought one cheaper.....and there was always someone that paid more than I did.
