These are the details of the 2013 rally.
The rally will be Monday June 17, 2013 through Wednesday June 19, 2013.

We are starting planning for 2013 Rally early for several reasons. First off we are moving the rally to a more central location so more members have an opportunity to attend, secondly so those of us who have to plan our vacation time around our work schedule in advance can do so and lastly we have to book the largest hotel(s) we can in advance so we have ample accommodations due to the growth we have had every year.

The Host Hotel is The Best Western Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs Arkansas. The address is: 207 W. Van Buren, Eureka Springs, Arkansas 72632. The phone number is 1-800-998-9620.

The rate starts at $80 a night.

NOTE: Hotel reservations for the rally can only be made by phone at: 1-800-998-9620
You need to tell them you are with Trike Talk/Trike Owners International.
If you try online reservation, it will show that the rooms are not available for the time period of the rally.

Tentative events are:

Monday – Check in and a free day for shopping, riding, etc.
Monday evening - Bingo in the Pavilion with prizes furnished by the Hotel.

Tuesday – Riding, shopping, etc.
Tuesday evening – Parade through the downtown loop led by the Mayor and Police Chief of Eureka Springs.

Wednesday – riding, shopping, etc.

Later in the day possibly in the afternoon will be a dinner in the ball room of the convention center at the hotel. Following the dinner will be the drawings for attendance prizes, one of which will be a free stay at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks for the 2014 rally.

Thursday – Check out with hugs and farewells.

There is miniature golf and pool tables above the pavilion and the hotel shows poolside movies every evening after dark.

There is a trolley service to various points downtown for a fee of $5 for all day. It stops at the hotel.

There are plenty of different rides in the area and some caves to explore along with parks and of course shopping.

More information on camp grounds will be posted later. There is a KOA campground near Eureka Springs, and two other campgrounds in Eureka Springs.

Those dates are, unfortunatly, the last 3 days of classes at school. The powers that be take a very dim view about missing the last few days with students. We won't be able to do any of the day activities, but we are only a 1 1/2 hour ride away, so the evening festivities, after 5 or 6pm are OK.

Maybe we can work up a ride for the "early birds" that may be there over June 15th & 16th, the weekend before the rally.

Here's wishing all who are able to attend, especially our mid-country and western members a real fantastic time. I'll be looking forward to seeing many photos of the event! :10:

Sounds great, looking forward to Eureka Springs. This year was my first rally and enjoyed it very much. Met a lot of fine people.

looking forward to next June and meeting up with some of the fine folks we met last year. Only been to Eureka Springs one time, it was a side trip when we were in Branson. I do remember though how neat it would have been to have had the superglide down there.

Sounds great, looking forward to meeting everyone. Eureka Springs is beautiful and a neat place to ride. Thanks for the info.

Hey Wicker Big Blue, since you are from the area can you recommend RV Parks. I'm gonna try to combine a trip back up to Wisconsin with the gathering (remember, it's not a rally).... GRIN... Will have to cater to my SO some along the way so we'll have to do the motorhome and trailer thing.

Thanks in advance.

I think Eureka Springs will be a nice place for the rally. I love riding in that part of the country. Will sure try to make it over.

Having a Pow-Wow last night and draggin' out old past Trip Route Maps, it's lookin' more and more like Mitzie and I may be attending. Using a very interesting, semi-scenic, non-Interstate Route we used a coupla' years ago......72 across Alabama/Mississippi, Left on 7, 4 over to 61, 49 across the Mississippi River and up to 64, 64 across Arkansas, then 23 into Eureka Springs. We have used this Route for Eureka Springs, and minus the 23 section on over to Oklahoma...both were done in one long day, in case some of You might want to check out the Route also......."but".......Lookin' like we're probabaly in for the RALLY.....ThumbUp :Trike1:

Yes, I am also... I have a couple surgeries to happen between now and then but I should be healed well before next June. Don't know if I will be able to stand not riding in pain but sure am looking forward to it!!! I missed last year healing up -- this one I can schedule around I hope....

Ok Illinois folks...I just made my reservations. I don't want to ride down there by myself...
I would like to thank those who are working behind the scenes to make this happen. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

There are two campgrounds in Eureka, one is the Kettle Campground 479-253-9100, and the Wanderlust RV park 479-253-7385. Also in the area KOA Campground 479-253-8036. If you need more there are more in the general area. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Ride safe :)
