Zuma 660 GPS

i.ve had a 660 for just over a year and love it. i had a 550 before. like the bigger screen and the more information. shows speed limit, quick access to gas station listing. nice advance info of up coming turns including a picture. lane advise for upcoming turns.

I have the Zumo 665 (non harley) and been using it for 2 years and works great. It has the XM capability and also MP3. This gives you more available features. I just plug it in the front of the HD radio and listen to it all the time.

The only differences between the Garmin and HD units is the HD has a listing of dealers across the country (there is a download for this at Zumo forums).

Do some research and you can find deals on ebay and other sites for best prices.

Speed limit... Is there such a thing:D.

The HD units also have a 2 year warranty vs the Garmin's standard 1 year. :)

I have the 665. The GPS works great, having a little issue with the XM, no signal. However, I put in a micro SD card 16g with music from all my old CD's and that works fantastic.

If you want weather radar, XM radio and bluetooth (which I didn't)then you need the 665 - if not the 660 is great - I have the 660. I also have the fairing mount because I don't want all the wire clutter and it puts the unit higher up so I don't have to look down as far. The 660 also has an mp3 player.

I have a Nuvi 750 that I plan on putting on my TG and wondered if anyone else has used a similar unit. I know its not weather proof, but I planned to put it in the trunk if it gets nasty out. Thanks for any info or suggestions

92fxsts, no need to put gps in trunk. Just put a ZipLock bag over it and secure it with a rubber band. That way you can still use it in any kind of rain.

They also sell weathercovers for GPS units..Have to search the internet

Great info Guys thanks for the ideas, I'll look around the net myself to see if I can find a protective cover

WOW, thanks for a point in the right direction. I found a case by Pelican in just a few minutes!

just had the 660 installed last month, I wanted the HD interface harness but it will not work unless you get the Harley-Davidson Garmin 660. I did get the harley davidson mount, however, and I had my dealer wire the connections. I just patch it into the radio system via the MP3 port

Yes, and now I have no money left! :D
and the politicians in Washington are taking what little I do have. :censored:

Don't forget I also bought the extended warranty and the VIP service plan.

I did save on buying the 660 instead of the 665. LOL

Does Schwin make a 3 wheeler?
