TTS Help

Will be happy to assist but the screen shots really don't help much. I can see you are lean in the upper RPM/kPa areas and the 15 table isn't to my liking but the cal file will tell me so much more such as "why".

box.com is free... simply upload your cal file and post a link.

Such as this.... https://www.box.com/shared/u9eoh1levm

Sir,

File has been downloaded. Can I ask what changes you made? I hope to understand what I may have had wrong in my previous map.

You were still using the preset Lambda. I changed that a little in the low RPM areas. This will give you better grunt off a stop sign and there is now a change in your DE table to help prevent popping. If you have any throttle hesitation then work with the AE tables by adding 10% until you get a crisp throttle... I've seen where AE had to be decreased as well.

I changed your PE tables to give you more kick in the pants when you hit 4300 RPM's. The trike is heavy.

I also changed your VE tables by smoothing them a bit and upgrading the 70 to 100 kPa areas. Compare the two calibrations and click on the 3D graph for each cylinderand you will see what I mean. Since you are in open loop Lambda in these areas we can give the ECM an advantage over closed loop and the VE tables will not be changed using ALV (Adaptive Learning Values)

I also noticed your EITMS was disabled. I didn't change that but you may want to. Any safety on a Harley is a good safety although I don't expect it ever to hit the EITMS with this cal.

Thank you, sir, I sincerely appreciate your help. Although using the TTS is pretty straight-forward, a lot of the finer tuning concepts are way over my head. I'm getting ready to head out on a 1,200 mile round trip and will be watching my performance closely.

Take it out for a few miles with that cal before you head out on a 1200 mile trip. Check it out.

Also... don't know if you guys are aware.. When going away from home for a few days on a long trip, always carry your TTS with you. There have been stories of unknown HD dealers telling you that your ECM is foul and they will need to sell you a new one. This is incorrect info and a scam. Take the TTS with you so these idiots can see that you aren't a pushover.
