Yes I finally jumped the fence today and became a new trike owner. I went today and talked to the salesman, went over some questions I had and then put the deposit down for the RS kit. I purchased a couple of weeks ago a leftover 12' G.W. Level 2 and it was my favorite color to (red with silver two tone) at a great price and today got the kit ordered. Let the sleepless nights begin. My savings account is now on life support but oh well, it will get better some day. The final decision was very easy and I am very satisfied so far of how this is all going. Thanks to everyone here that has given me advice. I will keep you all up to date as I get closer to bringing my new addition to the family home. Russ

Way to go, Yama-dude. You're gonna luv it! Being that you're "already in the neighborhood", try to keep your calendar open for the TT NorthEast rally in August. We'll look forward to seeing those "new wheels". Have fun, be safe!

Congrats! I went wtih the RS on my '10 wing last spring and have never looked back. Suggest you consider the auxiliary fuel tank (if you haven't already), it really gives the trike some "legs"...very nice if you ride where stations are few and far between! Enjoy!!

Congrats, you will love the RS, been riding one for two years now and no problems, comfortable, and rides smooth. I'm sure other owners could give testimony to their conversions of choice as well.

Yes, I am getting the aux tank. I wanted the running boards to but I had to make a choice between them right now so I went with the aux tank. I can get the running boards later. By the way did you all know that Roadsmith is coming out with a improved version of the ht1800 kit? Its called the hts1800 for 12' and 13' G.W. models. Details and photos will be released at Daytona Bike this year. I have seen a few photos of it. I am not that really impressed with it. I will stick to the original ht1800 kit. There a few so called improvements, but it just does not tickle my fancy. I don't have the photos. My dealer let me look at them but that was it. Sorry I can't any details. but again at the time Daytona bike week happens, it should be on the web site then. Ride safe and have a great day. Russ

I can certainly understand why some folks out in the southwest might have a need for an aux tank. But here on the Eastern Seaboard it's pretty tough to find anyplace where you wouldn't be within reasonable driving distance from a fuel stop.

For me, here in Virginia, if I feel the need to carry any extra I'll simply strap on a gas can and carry it that way. I like my floorboards and, if it was my choice, I certainly would have taken those over the aux.

Sorry, but that's just my personal preferences.......:D

Glad you are getting it done. Do you have it now or will you be picking it up soon?

Yea! Pictures will be good. You can come to the rally Aug 23.. You can ride down with Rosy or hook up with one of the others coming down from your area. Hope to see pictures of your new arrival and hope you can make it to the Rally. Then we can all hear you say " WISH I DID THIS A WHOLE LOT SOONER "pepper
