Have a GL 1800 and plan on triking out in the next year or two. Figured I'd come here and get the big skinny on things before I do.

No matter when you do it , you are going to say I wish I did it sooner, 5 years sooner. It will still be a motorcycle . On the straights it will feel the same and on the twistys ( Wait U all are in Texas right) ok then in the corners it will just feel different , but sooooo much fun.
