Took a trip to Yellowstone nat. park with the family it's about 4 hours from where I live .
I thought I might show you some of what I seen.
I based the weekend out of Pahkaska tepee resort out side of cody,wy. and about 2.5 miles from the park entrance. it was a quick trip over 2 days and I hit only some of the highlights.
My health conditions limited me and I couldn't hike back to some of the attractions that my family got to see but here is some of what I was able to get to. ( Hint-hold cursor over picture for an explanation of photo)

The grand canyon of the Yellowstone's has always been my favorite part of the park, I wish I could wake up and see this every day of my life.
Just before dark we came across a male silvertip grizzly about 500 ft, out, had to take a picture from someone else's camera because mine wouldn't zoom enough. Magnificent animal, was able to see it digging out a marmot and pounce on it.
Wow, brings back a lot of old memories. I was there about 30 years ago, long before the US government decided they don't like me anymore.
Seen all those sites, still looks awesome. Makes me want to dig out my old slides I took back then and watch them again.

Thanks a bunch for re-awakening some old brain cells.:)
