Yamaha VSTAR 1300

I started with a new leftover 2008 year model 1300 in red, added the Voyager trike kit with the 14" wheels, modified my Stratoliner windshield to mount on the narrower fork, added the RSTD handlebars and weights, added a Mutazu driver backrest and saddlebags, put on the darkside tire configuration (Altimax 205/60 rear and rear tire Pirelli MT66 reverse directional mounted in the front), and painted the Voyager fenders, running boards, rear mud guard and Mutazu hard bags to the primary red color.

Actually, we're thinking about selling the Trike. Had it for 7 months but all she seems to want to do is ride on the back of my Stratoliner. Traffic here in the DC Metro area is intense and she's scared to operate in traffic outside of a car.

2009 VSTAR 1300 Tourer. Voyager kit

Looking good, Strat!!
Installed Voyager Classic kit last jan and have put about 1600 mles on.
Like the kit , looks great, but steers like a pig. I am 5'11" , 240lbs, with avg. upper body strength. After a two hour ride I can feel my knuckles dragging on the ground. Have read some info re E-Z Steering or new fork rakes, however unable to find any kits/trees for yamaha 1300.

Any help appreciated
