Hi everyone managed to get a tow bar hitch for our 2010 tri glide here in oz for a good price however wondering about the wiring side of things. can you just connect plug to existing stop lights etc or do you have to purchase the separate wiring loom I've seen on some sites

thanks for your help

You can not wire your trailer directly to your brake lights, you need to protect the ECM on your bike for electrical surges. I purchased through Rivco Products for my 11TG.

The following wiring part numbers for Trikes up to 2013, all Plug & Play

HD007-13,- Plug & Play sub harness

EC07664- 5to4 trailer wiring converter if your trailer has a flat 4 pin plug.

GL1807-IU, Universal trailer Isolator

I used the kit from Open Road Outfitters works flawlessly. The one thing to remember is if using this kit it is color coded for a Bushtec trailer. So you will have to cross check your trailer wiring.
