Have 2014 Triglide that I bought a 2004 bushtec trailer to pull. I bought the wiring harness for can bus wiring a year ago. Then the hitch. Got it all installed. Now I had to wait to save up money for the trailer a friend of mine was selling.. Got what I wanted and now I hook it up. All running lights work. Turn signals work. Then I applied the brakes and the right turn signal light and brake light comes on. No blinking just yellow and red light. Called Bushtec and they say I might need a new isolator replacement. I thought, does those things bad? they are a sealed unit. They asked how long ago did I purchased the harness and no warranty. The harness was mounted under the seat so no heat and pretty protected. Any advice would help. Bushtec did tell me that their tech was out and can call tomorrow, But the person I was talking to was trying his best to help.

Did you talk to Todd or Andrew? Andrew knows his stuff and is a partner in the business and his brother owns the company that builds the wiring harness and components. He's the go to guy, talked to him today.

I'm curious,

1. Does the trailer have LED bulbs?

2. Is the trailer CANBUS compatible?

3. Do the blinkers & brake lights work individually.?

Just talked to him. Very happy with their support. We found the problem and had to order a canbus module. I guess I must of hooked everything up and turn it on before the module was grounded. I'm pretty sure I went by the directions but that was back in 2015 and I am 74. Crap can't remember.

So who knows but Andrew stayed with me step by step and that's even with my cell phone cutting in and out plus calling him back when cell signal dropped. He was there waiting for me LOL LOL So for them hanging in there with me like that I didn't care if it was their fault or my fault. Now days that kind of support is damn hard to find. Thank you guys a Bushtec !!!!

Glad you got it worked out Mark. Andrew is a stand up guy who will go above and beyond for his customers. In case you don't know Andrew is the son of John and Sally Preston who bought Bushtec way back in 1982 and moved it from CA to near Knoxville, TN. They sold the company about ten years ago and Andrew stayed on as general manager until the new owners decided they didn't need him. Bad call as customer service went to heck. But now a new (local) owner is in the picture and Andrew is back running the operation as he should be and as it should be run. I've known the Preston family over twenty years and they are all great, great folks. Sadly John and Sally have passed but Andrew and his brother Lewis are thankfully still involved.

Wow, ‘tks mucho for all the update info! I bought my Bushtec Turbo back when they were in Ca..... actually spoke withJohn several times GREAT man and ALWAYS excellent customer service!

Ive put well over 75 thou miles on it behind my 2-wheeler but haven’t put a hitch on the trike yet (don’t really need ALL that much room).
