windshield distortion near top

Anyone else had a problem with distortion in the top 4" or so of the windshield?

I'm 6'4" and when I test drove the 2009 I am buying...I sit tall enough that it was pretty noticeable and distracting.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed it.

If so, did you do anything about it? Re-engineered the windshield? Please don't tell me to "slouch" or sit "lower".

Some how I don't think Long Ride Shields make one for a Stallion. Please note this posting is in the Stallion Forum. But good thought if it was other then a Stallion.

I'm 6' 1" and I haven't had any problems but with that said I also use a seat cushion that is about three inches thick and I see a little distortion but no more that I did with the Goldwing I had. I haven't heard of anyone having this problem before or at least anyone talking about it. Sorry but can't help.

When it gets here in a couple weeks, I will clean the windshield real good and reassess the "problem" if there is one. When I test drove it, I was sitting on the previous owners cushion...my line of sight was smack dab in the top edge of the windshield...took the cushion out and it got better. I'll have to see how it affects me in the surroundings here.

Went to Honda dealer and bought some spray that was originally used in the aviation biz to clean plexiglass/polycarbonate.

Cleans, polishes, and even fills minor scratches.

The windscreen got VERY clean and the distortion I had been seeing (imagining?) at the top is all but gone.

good to hear. the windshields in our Stallions are much like small aircraft windshield material. I buy my cleaner from the local airport fix base operator.
