Windshield Adjustment Goldwing

I have a 2010 goldwing and the windshield will not stay up on the left side as setting on the trike, when I adjust the windshield and lock it down with the clamps the left side will come down a little as you ride it. Question is there anyway to tighten the clamps under the front fearing. Thank you in advance.

The clamp system can be tightened,
Requires removal of the mirror and the windshield garnish, if I remember correctly.
If you do this, I would go a little further, removing the shield and replacing the OEM "tape" with a strip of the smooth side of velcro.
PS, if you remove the mirror, stuff a rag in to catch the screws lest they disappear into the dark void!!!!!!!

Johnnie, if you will swing the left rear view mirror out of the way and remove the rubber boot from around the mirror you will see the adjuster. Move the adjuster lever up and down while looking in that hole to see which way to shorten the adjuster. Two 10 mm wrench's is all you will need. Put the mirror back where it goes then the rubber boot and your good to go. 15 minute job.

Johnnie, what Charley told you is most likely the case but just in case I'll also tell you that you may have to go a step further and totally remove the front plastic under the windshield. I've seen the rubber pads on the tension assembly actually come off so no amount of adjustment will give the desired result.

To remove the plastic you will have to remove a 10mm bolt on each side under the mirrors. You will see that bolt when you follow Charley's instruction. Be very careful if you do have to remove these bolts as they tend to take a dive into no man's land. Use a rag stuff in the area below the bolts or a magnet to keep the bolt from falling into oblivion. Then you can remove the rubber grommet and pull the top of each side free. The front is held in place by two points pushed into rubber grommets. Once that is off you will be able to see and inspect the entire windshield tension assembly.

Ok thanks for the information thinking I may just pull the front off to check it out and see whats going on.

Correct......but don't go overboard on adjusting it. I adjusted one several years ago too much and the windshield cracked.
