Whoa!

Oh the marketing genius on display here. The MOCO knows this is a niche bike and only a targeted few will jump on it. The low production number indicates....at least to me it's a loss leader. But how many Road Glide owners would like some of those parts on there bike? Hint, nudge- hint. And I called him a sneaker monger.

The old story" if you have to ask the price you can't afford it".
I don't have to ask I know I can't afford it.

Being a Harley guy, I personally think this an absolutely ridiculous idea, the HD company is already crazy for what they want for bikes. I know this is an exercise in engineering and styling, but these will only land in the collections of the rich. This time and effort would be better spent on technology that works rather than having recalls afterwords.

TRY $110,000.00 w/131
I can guarantee you if anyone on this forum test rode one of those about 90% would have to be forced off of it at gun point. Unless you have ever ridden a trike with that much HP and torque you can't imagine how much fun it really is.

On the other hand, probably about 90% of the folks on here would never pay $110,000 for a HD Trike.

Solution: Take your current trike to a good dealership and have it made into a 130 or 131. I would start with sending the bottom end up to Dark Horse, then when it comes back either use a T-Man kit to make it a 130ci (from a 114ci) or a different rebuild kit to make it a 131ci. Even with new headers and pipes you can probably do all of that for under $9,000 at the right shop.

Now after you get it back if you aren't careful, you will be tempted to start power shifting once and awhile. After a couple of months, you will be having your second transmission replaced so you will need to spend another $4,000 for a Baker grudge box tranny. Now you will be good to go, and if you ever pull up beside one of those stock $110,000 beauties you can take pleasure in knowing your ride is faster and you spent about half overall.

When I was younger, I drag raced bikes, nothing earth shattering. But fast enough low 10's, so going fast has worn off for me. I wanted just enough torque so my trike would be better towing a trailer, and I have that. Plus a lot more money in my pocket. Now I get the need for power it's just lost its appeal to me.

In my younger days I actually did some racing also, just in a cage, actually one with red/blue lights. Some races were only a few miles; some went for a lot longer. It wasn't all that much fun back then.

What I like about having my rebuilt motor is if I need to get around someone while going 60 to 70mph, I only have to twist the throttle and I'm gone. With my stock 114 even if I dropped down to 5th gear there just wasn't much torque left to quickly get around someone. Unfortunately, down here in FL the average speed on most interstates is above 80 most of the time. If one of these impatient speedsters starts tailgating you, it is nice to be able to get away from them and out of the line of fire.
