Who has installed Rush 7017HOs on a Rushmore?

Thanks for the reply... if you don't mind, how much room do you have on the right side between the frame and the muffler adapter? Mine is tight against the frame. That does not see right to me.

I can run my fingers all the way along the frame until about 1/2 way to the middle of the bike {after it makes the 90 degree underneath} where at one point it goes as close as a 1/2" for about 1".....clear all the way....jc

2015 TriGlide....not sure what year yours is.

Thanks for checking .. mine is 2015 too. The top pipe seems to be up too far on mine and interferes with the frame. I would literally have to pry down on the pipe to get the muffler adapter on. When I release the tension, the pipe comes back up and the adapter rubs on the frame. Not sure what the hell is going on with it. The pipes are in the heads..the bottom pipe fits fine.

Do you have a lift on yours? Though I can't see how it would matter. In my mind that should improve clearance.

I do not have the lift Kit - But I do have the 1/2" longer Progressive Shocks. But the pipes where installed before the shocks and had no issues then either.

Interesting....

Just like Harley's, the pipe manufacturers do not make every part the same. There can be pretty significant variances pipe to pipe on the bends. Yes, they have jigs, but just a slight difference up near the engine gets exaggerated the further back it goes.

It is also possible that there is some adjustment you can make in the mounting.

Thanks guys... I am waiting for Rush to send me replacement pipes under warranty.. Stay tuned.

Finally got the replacement pipes..it took 2 weeks..they fit better but still not a huge amount of clearance between the muffler adapter and the frame. They sound great with V&H Trike mufflers. I have the FP3 autotuning now. I started out with the V&H power dual and trike muffler map. Really improved the cooling and power.
