When not to do the "Wave"

Give it a few more years and he will disappear if he doesn't like trikes and spiders and don't kill himself with coolness beforehand.

I don't give a rats patoot if someone waves at me or not. I earned my place on the road and the seat of my trike.

I saw that same crap, but when I went to write a comment, it wanted to put my Hotmail info in Facebook. No chance of that, so I had to log off.

...And why wouldn't you want to wave to someone when commuting? That's the right way to start off the day.
 
Not very smart to insult your customers. Do they think they don't sell to trikes. Well, not this one anymore. I have bought from them but if they don't think I am worth a wave then I don't think they are worth my money. Hope that costs them out the #%##. I know it cost them my business. I only support, and that is what you do when you buy something from a company, folks who appreciate me and my money. As far as riding a trike, maybe it is not as dangerous as two wheels but I don't ride for the danger, I ride for the freedom and the experience of the wind in my face and openness of the world around me. I love my trike and wouldn't change for anything.
Ride safe, oh if you're on a trike you don't have to worry, just ask the folks at bike bandit!!!

This moron thinks that coolness comes from inherent danger. He must be the coolest guy on Earth, because posting drivel like that will get his ass kicked. :Trike1:

hummmm.... earned my way to 3 wheels as Im sure a lot of us did. I never rode because it was dangerous or so some one thought I was cool! To me this appears to be written by some "want-to -be" kid that has yet to figure out what being a biker and part of the brother hood is all about. this statement shows a lack of respect for all of us. A good number being veterans, handicapped , and old farts. 3 groups I was taught as a child to show respect for.

where was this written ? I have bought a few things from them and I feel they need to be educated as to the amount of customers they are pissing off with one persons statement.

I always personally hate it when Anyone draws a "line in the sand", and calls the particular type/brand Bike They ride the "right one", segregating all others to a lesser esteem......:mad:


I've been known to pull up into the midst of Large Cruiser Groups at "The Dragon" on a 50cc Ruckus Scooter, with a "Hi Folks", and park it there.....:D
 
I stopped waving. It's lost it's meaning for me. When I first started riding in 1959 I saw maybe 1 or 2 riders in a day, and most likely at least one of them was broke down. We all carried tire irons, tube patch kits, spare spark plugs, duct tape, and bailing wire. It didn't matter what brand of bike was broke down, I always stopped to help. I always waved at all riders on the road because It met something when you saw another rider, they were taking a chance just like you were. Now on any day you see many, many riders in a day. With todays modern bikes it's rare to see anybody on the side of the road. You can ride a bike for 100,000 miles + without a mechanical breakdown. Of course back then, and today riding a bike is more dangerous then riding in a car. So for the 100 to 150 riders I see on a single Saturday or Sunday, sorry but I'm not waving.

Don't run into that kind of stuff much anymore. There was a time tho when a lot of people and organizations wanted nothing to do with US. Gwrra a purdy big organization even started a separate division called TRIKES. Now if you go to any of their functions trikes will number real close to the bikes if they don't out number them.RIDE SAFE

Pisses me off when I wave at somebody and they ignore you. For their info they have no idea why I'm on a three wheeler. I have riddin two wheelers all my life and went to a trike because of the wife. She couldn't ride a two wheeler any more so we switched. This was so the wife could keep riding. I had reservations at first, but I whole heartily love it. The ones that have their heads up theirs can kiss mine! :mad::Wrong:

as for the wave, I do when I see it from anybody. (usually after you go by, sorry im not that quick or maybe "in the zone") I really don't think that much about it.
Knowing this little puke wont wave at me will not upset me much and if bike bandit wants to endorse this statement they can kiss my:kpzxvq:.

I found this on my FB site and Brothers of the third wheel posted it....lots of pissed off folks....
you can show your grievance with them personally.....look for the blog on their site and it's there.....wave or not to wave.....

AMEN ON THE REAR END SMOOCH. OBVIOUSLY WRITTED BY SOMEONE WITH LIMITED RIDING HISTORY. I CONTINUE TO WAVE AT FELLOW RIDERS. I'M STILL RIDING AT 70+ & I CONSIDER MYSELF PART OF THE CYCLE COMMUNITY. :mad:

I looked at the blog on this at bike bandit. lots of pissed off people! we should watch for the retraction, apology ,or replacement of Aaron Cortez

I contacted their live chat line to get a customer service rep on the line and let them have my two cents! told them to lose my email address.
