wheels and front fender Take offs

I have all 3 wheels and front fender for 2017 TriGlide available .. These have never been on road changed over at dealership,, Anyone need

Price would help.

Are u talking about the wheel and tire or what?

I could use the wheels but price is the big factor, and shipping cost.

Not sure what they are worth to be honest.. Right now they are stored in boxes and I have no plans for them.. So if we can figure out something to make us both happy I am open to trying,, Would even barter if it was something unique

HD rims

I DO NOT want to steal anyone's thunder or undercut - but if those wheels

Do not work out PM me as I have a set here in CA.

Pete. :Coffee:

I had been trying to sell a set of brand new wheels for $450 incl. freight from my 2012 TG for 5 years but couldn't do it. Then last summer I finally was able to sell them for $300 + shipping(approx. $75). I had though $500 would have been a fair price. :D I still have 2 front fenders with a small dent that I can't even get $10 for. I figured for someone wanting to customize a fender would love to buy them = I was wrong. Used parts really don't sell well.

I hear ya.... Have the wheels and tires (front tire has brake disk) complete with bearings off my '13 that I've listed for a couple years and no bites, not even a nibble....even tried to see without tires. Like you said "used parts just don't sell anymore".

Gary,67Wizard as you know there is a PM issue at this time. I may be able to help out. I will PM you a request for your offer on the items for sale including shipping.

I will then forward your request to kubtajim. If he accepts or considers your offer, then all you need to do is send me your contact phone number. I will forward the number to kubotajim.

Or Gary, if you really want to simplify this correspondence, then just send me your contact phone number. I will then forward it directly to kubotajim.:D

Now that's really sad, thanks for the input......if/when it is restored I hope he wll

contact me.

What a shame our world is turning to s...in a hand basket !

Just so everyone knows, PMs are the newest and most effective tool used by spammers, scammers and hackers. They send phishing links via PM. Its happening not just on forums, but on Facebook, Linked In, dating sites and many more. These guys are much harder to catch than the ones who post on the open board.

The lazy hackers are easy to spot as they post their malicious links to the open forum, but the smart ones register here and usually wait for weeks, months or longer before they ever send a PM so they aren't flagged by our security software. Some make legitimate posts to appear to be a regular member, before they send phishing links via PM hoping you will click on them so they can gain access to your computer.

It has happened multiple times here and we try our best to catch and delete malicious PMs before anyone can click on them, but we have missed a few and those times, I posted a warning for members not to click on any PMs originating from that member. It is almost always sent to members who have posted a classified ad, saying they are interested in the item for sale and asking "does it look like this?" (with a link attached).

This is why we periodically send the 'please make a post' email like the one that was just sent, as it helps us build a safe list. It is also why we added a SSL Security Certificate to our server, switching from HTTP to HTTPS. I also hired a Tech Admin to monitor the site 24/7 for breaches and holes in the site, update old programs and find and fix glitches. I take this seriously and am doing my best to constantly improve the sites functionality and security, but its a full time job folks.

Below are some recent 2017 news articles warning of PM hackers:

Here is a safe site to check and see if your email address has been used to register on a site that has been hacked. I just checked mine and I showed up on five sites!

I saw a couple of posts say "used part just don't sell".

Guys, that has NOT been my experience.

I've sold thousands of dollars of used parts on ebay, just this year.

NOT DK parts...used OEM parts off of Harley's. I've had no trouble selling them.

Take a couple of photos, write 2 or 3 descriptive lines, you'll be surprised how quickly and easily most parts will sell for.

I sent back a private message with my cell.. Hopefully you get it if not we will figure it out,,, Thanks and yes its a shame that scammers are ruining everything we do..

Jim, I received your PM but there was no written reply or phone number.

Please try again.

Gotta pass on the wheels, I just found a screw in my back tire so I gotta keep an eye on that.

May have ta spend money for a tire.

Thanks to DK for posting what he did. And 67Wizard for reminding me of something. Am going to post my tires and wheels again but adding this time that the brake disk and bearing are on the front wheel and all tires, front and rear, have ample amounts of "RideOn" in each tire. About $120.00 worth that I'd forgotten about.

Thanks for the memories...

I'm 99.5% sure. Unless Harley makes a stupid decision . . . . oh wait a minute . . . . we're talking about Harley here. :D

The design has been the same since the beginning so why would they change anything else?

Kubotajim: Have you determined a price for the items?

Dan I really have not.. I would like to move them and I am not opposed to taking or bartering for them.. five seven zero four zero four three one five nine and bet we can figure something out..

I just did a quick search on ebay of Successful Completed auctions-

Rear wheels (no tires) for a Tri-Glide are selling for $120 to $160 a pair...Plus shipping. That is what they've sold for in the last 30 days. Different time of year they may pull more or less.

Front wheel, no tire, no rotor, selling in the $120-170 range...that price includes shipping.

ebay is a great way to sell take-off parts. Helps finance new after market parts. :)

My current SBS Chop Project (see thread on it HERE) involves a 2003 1200 Sportster. One of the first things I did was take off all the OEM parts that I was not going to use in the build.

I put them on ebay. 95% of them sold very quickly (within 1 month), and I recouped $3000, which almost covered the original purchase price of the bike! :)

Just an FYI. Trike forums are populated by folks who have more take off parts than any other site. Not the best place to sell take off parts.

yeah you know its funny was not looking to get rich , Thats why I figured I would throw in the Barter thing,, I have a gameroom and mudroom that I am building and figured something old or neat could be swapped .. I dont have a price just cuz I didnt want to over charge anyone,, Almost threw them in dumpster guess that would have been easier lol

I would be interested but the price of shipping and what you want for them proly puts them put of my range.
