Just curious, what's everyone running for slip ons other than stock? Looking for something deep and throaty, not obnoxiously loud like straight pipes. I see that Vance & Home, Rinehart and Cobra neighbor haters are all available for trikes. Thanks, Todd

My 19’ free has the Vance and Hines twin slash. Came with the bike and definitely happy with them. Not crazy super loud but deep. Quiet enough while cruising and loud enough when you twist it. Wouldn’t even think to change them. I also like that whoever put them on made sure to get it nice and flush with the body. Some slip ons I see stick way out and I don’t like that.

Cobra 909 Slip Ons

Tab Performance 4.5 BAM STICKS for the win! you can buy various style baffles to tailor the loudness to your liking! The zombie baffles are loud! But even the quietist ones sound great IMO! Check 'em out, I love mine!

Installed Rhinehart DBX 4 inch to go with my cam/ oil pump and cam plate up grade. People tell me they are loud but I can't hear to good anymore so they dont bother me. People also tell me my fly is open but I dont care about that anymore either.

Then just the other night I was riding out and realized all I put on was my boots, jacket and gloves and forgot my pants. Rode all night in my boxers. Walked around the firewoks show with a coffee in my hand and no pants. No one even cared.

Yeah, I do the same thing........but only in my Dreams!
I call these Nightmares! 🤣

Rhineharts and D&D have always sounded the loudest to me on any bike.
Removing the stock head pipe makes them come alive. I have the Cobra 6300's on mine with the Cobra head pipe. Nice sounding combination to me.

S&S grand national on mine . It’s what came with it. They sound decent and mellow enough to tour with. They have some bark when you get on it a bit. I I ever change I’m going with TAB or Fuelmoto

Now just my suggestion....Don’t ask total strangers….Go to bike Rallies…Local Dealer Rides, anywhere there are a ton of Harleys and listen. When ya find a sound you like, Ask. Never met a rider that didn’t like talking about his/her bike. I mean there would not be a million different choices if there were not a million different opinions, and none of ours matter – Just yours.

EXCELLANT SUGGESTION. What I like you might hate. So go listen and ask questions. They are to expensive not get the right one the first time.

That’s how I found out about Fuelmoto. With my Electra glide. Guy had some 3.5” Jackpots and I just went ahead and bought some. They now have close to 75000 miles on them with another owner. He’s my maintenance guy and although he says they’re not loud enough he like the looks. The sound is hard to decide ona video clip. Real life following some

I would say, go to a big bike night and walk around and listen to the pipes on different machines. I have had a lot of dudes ask me to start one of my machines to listen. I have Rush War Horses on my Indian and Rineharts on the Tri-Glide. I like them both. This is a tough question to answer since it is kind of like your preference for oil.......Ken
