Whats in your saddlebags?

I carry a ballcap, a bottle of water, the butt buffer pad in case my butt gets sore, and a couple of cigars for when I stop to rest. I ride a spyder F3S so I carry my rain gear and tire patching stuff up front in what we call the Frunk. I'll also use the bags to hold my jacket sometimes.

Sounds like we're on the same page. I often wonder if I even need the bags due to the front storage on the spyder, but you never know when you might get the inclination to stop by the local market for something or another.

I don't do any long distant travel anymore. I dream about it, but that's about it.
Now back in my younger days it was a Seabag strapped to the sissy bar and the 38 in the roll bag on the handle bars of my XLCH. Back then I couldn't afford a decent set of bags. My how things change.

I have a CSC trike - trunk has two levels. In the upper level, I carry the tire kit, air pump, cleaner w/cloths, the small Harley tool kit (screwdrivers) and my bike cover. All of that is behind the netting - can get to it when I need it.

I have a jump kit but don't carry that in the CSC trunk. Reason, if my battery dies, this means I can't open the trunk since I can't turn the bike on. Therefore, I carry my jump start in my Harley top trunk.

When travelling, my clothes bad and all else in the bottom trunk (there is tons of room there. Top trunk also carries my rain suits, water, energy bars, wife's purse and my hat.

We no longer use the trunk rack - seems like we have more room than we need.

Speaking of which, we are leaving soon for Milwaukee - so let's get packing.
