Years ago my Mother -in-Law would make a bunch of fruitcake's wrap them in burlap soak/drown them in Rum.....And then let them sit in a dark closet for months....Then they were eatable..:D......
 
Ok wizards , I want to smoke a corn beef . In the past it’s been salty . Thinking of a soak rinse a few times ?
 
Add a little Season Mix, Garlic Powder, Chili Powder. Based with light coat of Beer, your choice.......
