We made some hot peppers in oil today, Hungarian Wax, jalapeno, red chiles and serrano. They went well with the Misses whipping up some cheese ravioli and meatballs.

I do. I pickle them, so they will be just the way I like them.
I liked them when they had a little gritty [Bite] to them...So you could almost taste the soil they were grown in......
I do but they are best used to make pickled eggs IMHO!
I make deviled pickled eggs. I put a thin slice of serrano pepper on the top of each egg half but any herb will do. I don't leave the eggs in the beet juice too long because I think the whites become a little rubberized. IMO
Interesting story i have about pickled hard boiled eggs....
I used to stop at a German bar in Queens NY...And if you asked for a Chicken dinner' The bartender would take a pickled egg out of a large gallon size jar put it on a plate with a daub of mustard , Hand you a mug of draft beer ....And there was your Chicken Dinner..:laugh:..

Being we don’t eat out , I needed a MacDonalds fish sandwich. Went to the market for Gordon’s fish filets and thru them in the oven . Melted a slice of Velveta on top , put it on a burger bun with a little tartar sauce , my fix is satisfied .
Tonight will be a ripper with kraut. Have I mentioned I will be featured on My 600lb life tv show !
