What type of oil?

Just purchased a used 12 Tri Glide and am scheduled to have the 1k service done by my local dealer but my appointment is not a few weeks. My engine oil is below the full mark and I would like to top it off. Does anyone know what the MoCo puts in the engine from the factory? I'm going with synthetic when the complete change is done but would like to put the same thing that is in it when I top it off.

Leave the engine oil down about 1/2qt to keep from blowing into the air cleaner. Dealer likely left it there also.

As others have said let it run a 1/2 qt low. It comes from the factory with HD 360 20w50 oil in the engine and Formula + in the transmission and primary.
