What is the size of the rear wheel lug nuts? I am unable to find anything is the service manual. I know the torque is 100ft/lbs.

3/4" sounds a little snug. My neighbor told me he uses a 20mm socket.

I'm not that familiar with it, but isn't there a tool kit supplied with the TG that has a lug wrench?

Harley's aren't metric.. I Just put new brakes on my T/G Two weeks ago, And that requires me to remove the rear tires and I used a 3/4 with no problems..

I'm good with that. Y'all would know better than me. Just passing along what I was told.

Every bike I've ever owned seems to have a mix of metric and SAE. My work bench has a huge collection of both.

Thanks for the correction.

:Agree: These days they are a mix, the bolts for the clutch diaphragm spring retainer are 10mm. The sad facts is Harley's are assembled in America, but not 100% American made. A good many parts come from other countries.

how should I put this..... BS.... just flipped up from a 2016 to a 2018.... way way more metric used now. what a pain in the ***. As for the lugs.... yes 3/4 is what I used on the 2016..... and thanks to new caliper design my mirror plates won't fir any more..... probably going to sell them off.

I too used a 3/4" socket to remove the lug nuts until I learned they actually are 19mm and confirmed that a 19mm socket does indeed fit. Now 3/4" is so close to 19mm (it is 19.05mm) that it works but I do think I'll use the 19mm socket in the future.

Wheel stud size is 1/2" X 20.
