What muffler did you upgrade to on your Stallion?

If you did NOT get one of Zook's dual upgrades...if you "went local" and had a muffler shop work on your Stallion...

What muffler (brand and model, size) did you end up using?

Also, were you pleased with the results?

What did it do? Deeper? Softer? Louder? Throatier?

I went to an automotive shop, told them to quieten it down. Don't know model #, etc. but it is an oval muffler about 14" long. It ain't purty, but it done the job!!!! It is now soft and quiet!!

The shop I talked to wants to do an oval one about 14" long (just a shade longer than the stock muffler, but larger overall). They are also gonna "dual it". I think the brand name was Magnaflow.

Magnaflo will probably be pretty loud, if that's what you want. Mine is 14X9 and it quieted it down quite a bit. I don't know the brand. I just asked for something quiet. They did remove the second cat to get it to fit with the dual exhaust. There weren't any sensors on the second cat, so it didn't cause problems with the computer.
