what master cylinder to use on my trike?

I am trying to figure out what master cylinder to use on my trike. I have VW drum brakes.

5/8 bore will be big enough for drum brakes. Wouldn't go any bigger.

Hi as rsw says 5/8th bore for the master and a suggestion for the slave/wheel cylynders use the 22mm ones which are normally used on the fronts they fit as the standard rears but give a better brake, cost around the same.regards steve.

on tri glides they want you to use 11/16 or larger master cylinder for dual disc.

Disc brakes need more fluid volume then drum because of the piston sizes. Heres some good reading.
