Yeah, only 51F here too. This is the third day in a row for getting rained out. It's gotta be a record for this much rain. I am starting to have a lack of riding withdrawal attack. I don't know how some of you folks can go all winter and not ride. I have to settle for sitting on my exercise bike while peddling my butt off and go Vrmmm Vrmmmm.

Got the Vivid Black color matched Mid Frame Deflectors delivered. Unboxing everything looks correct. Paint quality is excellent. 2 Deflectors, 2 bolts / washers each to install. My FW is a 2017 so I have the 2 top holes threaded already. The 2 bottom holes use the threaded inserts which just push into the frame.

Install went reasonably well. The access is a bit of a challenge and I would rate this as a 3 knuckle project. I think they look awesome! Lets see if they do what they are supposed to do and also lets see if they do what their not supposed to do ...

Thanks Jar ... I think they look great. I went with the Hogworkz Vivid Black Color Matched set and they look like they were always on the bike. "Hiding In Plain Sight"

I am looking to find the 4.5" passing lamps and the bar to apply the to the trike should look something like the below. Anybody put them on their Freewheeler and know of a source of supply.

54° and sunny with no appreciable wind. Had to let the Freewheeler out of the garage for an hour or so. Went to lunch and managed a long way home before I was interrupted by customers again.

I shorted the battery to ground when I removed the battery , I had a small fire, burned my thumb, The warden ( Denise my stand up wife) is gona watch while I set the battery back up today, and get the FLRT on the road again.

Changed my fluids yesterday

I changed oil in all three holes and have a couple of observations. I believe that the correct oil level in the primary is more important than the type of oil. Secondly, when you drain that Redline from the transmission, it sure leaves a powerful aroma in your shop.

No work just went for a ride. 180 miles to Lake Henshaw roundtrip. Was still a little cool so stopped into Lake Cuyamaca Cafe for a couple cups of joe and some raspberry/apple pie to warm up.

I'm really glad that your ok digital buddy My kids had a new baby this week (our second grandchild, a little girl) so I have been off the grid a bit. I was sorry to read about your battery event. I'm glad it seems to be over. I hope you feel better.

64° and sunny in south jersey, so went for another 80 mile run to burn up the last of the gas from November and get some fresh stuff. Decided to install my NOCO battery port on my battery when I got back. Had to do it twice, of course, because the cover wouldn't go back on the way I had the connections routed the first time. Second time worked fine and everything fired up. After reading Jacks burning battery inferno post I guess I should count my blessings. Hope I never need that connector, but it's there if I do.

If anyone interested in a kit, will give a good deal.

Just making sure because I also thought that previous owner had installed a Lift Kit already ... the lift kit bracket has 4 mounting holes and the factory kit has only 3 but looks in shape and finish to be the same. They are not. Just a double check

May sound silly ... but ... these are the stock brackets that come with the Trike. Just making sure because I also thought that previous owner had installed a Lift Kit already ... the lift kit bracket has 4 mounting holes and the factory kit has only 3 but looks in shape and finish to be the same. They are not. Just a double check

In the upper 70's today in balmy Southern New Jersey. Played hooky from work and took a looong lunch ride.

I got my 2021 Black Freewheeler to work when the weather allows it. Some nights its been pretty frigid here in Lincoln, but over all as long as its above 35 degrees and clear, I will ride to work. I installed my new 4" slip on pipes last weekend, and I'm awaiting my new 12" apes to complete my new installations for this year.

Ya I know there's always things to add to our rides, but I have other toys and my beautiful wife has multiple things she'd like me to get done around the house before I retire in a couple of years, so my cash is rather limited for this year. But to be honest, having my wife join me on my rides and support me in my "hobbies" is the greatest reward I have in enjoying the activities I'm involved in

The past couple of weekends its been pretty cool and I've had some projects to work on at the house, but I am so ready for warmer weather to "stay" so I can get out and ride.

Yesterday we rode in the Make A Wish Foundation Charity Ride sponsored by our local HD of Myrtle Beach (to the north) and Summerville HD (to the south) and we all met in the middle, Georgetown. The weather was beautiful and the ride was escorted by both Horry & Georgetown Police. There were 100's of bikes and everyone had a great time.
