What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

Just for grins I ran a scan on my Freewheeler

No check engine light, tho the oil switch code showed up again

Think I will look at a non HD replacement

Is that the code I posted about before? I haven't got it in awhile. I never got a "check engine" light with it.

Let us know if you find an aftermarket replacement.

I'm down to 6 months on my warranty. I am having a reoccurring problem with condensation inside my speedometer & it's so bad I can't see the digital display. I guess I will get a new one.

I went out before dark & gave my FW a quick shine with Lucas Speed Wax (a great product).

I hooked up the battery tender & put her to bed under a king size fitted sheet, which works great for covering the trike from the windshield to the trunk. I have another small sheet for the front end.

It went from 60 here to the 30's for the next week and they are predicting 3-5" of snow Friday night into Saturday, so she will get a good nap.:Dorag: Come on spring!

We are actually having winter this year & it sucks.

Snow everywhere, no sun & in the 30's. They are predicting below 0 temps this weekend .:gah:

I will not be riding for awhile.

That sucks

It has already been a strange winter

Next week here in Jax it is going to be 45 on Monday dropping to 28 Monday night

I will be wearing my Chaps and face mask:p

-2 this morning with -25 wind chill & a high of 8°:gah: There is some hope as they are forecasting 55-60 this weekend. I know what I'll be doing.

I figured you'd be out there with this guy takin' in the wind....

Me, well, on wintery days I prefer to make a little money to fund my project.... Just bolt up the OEM Plow (so as not to void the warranty) to the Softail and start workin' the neighborhood. $20 a driveway adds up in a hurry

A couple of days ago I installed my RM Reckless fairing and today I installed DK's 1 1/2" tank lift and their floor board extenders. Also installed Custom Dynamics LED tail/stop lamp assembly on my Air Wing luggage rack.

Not yet...

There is SO MUCH damn salt on our roads they appear white.

I would never subject my baby to that

I'll wait

Same here. Northeast Pa uses ungraded gravel as anti skid. NY has always been known for having more salt than snow on the roadways. Vehicles rust out totally in short time.

I went to the garage & uncovered my baby, unplugged the battery tender and am looking forward to 60° and sunny tomorrow. I have not been riding in weeks.:D

I got a 75 mile ride in around going to a Superbowl party at my sons house, who is at the Superbowl!

My FW must have enjoyed her rest, because it is running like a top. I love it more with each ride & the clutch is still impressing me, post recall. I'm still liking the improved release point.

Sounds great. Any way you could post some pics of the CD light on the luggage rack.

I saw your fairing pics on on other thread.

We woke up to a sheet of ice everywhere today, so I can't even walk out and stare at my FW while it sleeps .:gah:

I finally got a short ride in with a temp of 44 & sunny. I got to test my winter gloves from Cabela's ($20) & they were truly windproof & I'm happy with that.

I also finally found a windshield bag ($25 delivered from Amazon) that I liked & installed it, but will re-do it when warmer with better hardware. I really like it.

50 & sunny today & I got a 50 mile ride in. The next 8 days are forecast to be bad weather here in STL. My FW is a little dirty, but I plugged in the B Tender Jr. & covered her with the king size sheet. Hopefully, this is winters last hurrah in the Midwest.:Dorag:
