Well I finally Did it :)

After 3 weeks of staying up till 1 or 2 am looking for a Harley to buy. I finally found a garage find! It's a BEAUTY ThumbUp ALL BLACK & CHROME. 2007 ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC. IT HAS JUST OVER 4,364 MILES ON IT. Everything is like Brand New! Because it is. The guy had balance issue's. Gets dizzy once in a while. So he had to sell it. Like HE said my loss your gain. He kept it in a trailer covered in a heated garage. Nothing real fancy. But CLEAN & Shine's like a the Sun! Some Chrome not too much. Nice sounding pipes ThumbUp. But not too loud The Bike looks like it just came out of the show room . I think I put on about 75 miles getting it home today. Now the FUN beings. Then next yr I'll Trike it. But 1st I'm going to play with it a while 1st. get used to it and make it MINE! I'm so geeked I won't be able to sleep tonight :wave4:. Talk about HAPPY. YES WE ARE.

Great find, there are a lot of bikes out there who have owners that buy them and occasionally ride them which means a great bike for someone down the line. In my neck of the woods we have what we call Weekend Warriors, they get out on the weekend, run in packs from bar to bar then call it a great ride.

Hey RT, great to hear about your garage find and it's the perfect color, BLACK, just like my TG.
It sounds a little like my TG find, the owner had medical issues, had already done some safety chrome, a little hop-up stuff & around 5000 miles. ThumbUp

Thanks for all the kind words and wishes. It is a sweet ride all clean and maybe just broke in a bit. Now the Fun starts pepper. I paid $13,500 for it and its well worth it for a new bike LOL. With the bike in that condition and and the miles I figure I got a SUPER DEAL !. WE just got back to the house this eveing. Had some friends from Michigan stop in for a couple of days on their way to Yellowstone. I haven't had a chance to do a thing to her yet. Maybe tomorrow afternoon. Sooooo many things going on all at once now. Got job offer to do security work at my old place , Plus the New bike ,plus friend came into town. Everything hitting me all at once. RD I can't stop smiling ThumbUp I spent weeks staying up to 1 or 2 am looking on Cycle trader and other Bike sites for a good buy. My wife was even helping me out. She came into our office with her I Pad and she would show me bikes while I was looking at other. Ran across this one. Made the call & NO ANSWER! So we moved on looking at other adds. Then at 8 am I tried it one more time. The guys SON answered the phone and we talked about the bike. Told me his dad couldn't ride any more. had to sell it. He sent me more pic's and we talked again. The more we talked the more I wanted it. then he told me the miles are REAL. 4, 464,00 DAMN Sam I'm going for it. called the bank and got the Ca$h. Called his son and made plans to look at it amd a possible buy. Go there and saw it sitting out. OMG! Its a BEAUTY. And the miles. talk about finding a barn find !! OH YEAH.

I gave mine the ca$h and we drove on down the roadThumbUp. I thought about the ride home and not riding for over 7 to 8 yrs. But once on it and I hit the starter. It all comes back to you. 5miles down the rd I had this stupid smile on my face. ITS STILL THERE. I have some business to finish up on on Weds. Then the rest of the week will be making it all mine. Got some stuff to take off and add others. Going to take pictures of Before & After. I have plans to make it a Street Glide like my last one. Ok its been a long day and I hitting the rack for the 1st time in weeks at a decent time. GOOD NIGHT TRIKERS & Two wheeler every where pepper
