Last night ,tornado's hit all around us. Our niece's house is destroyed, & her Mom's house is damaged. We are fine & no damage. The tornado hit on both sides of us 2-3 miles. Dayton is hit bad.

I saw the news this morning & the damage looked devastating & was amazed know one was killed, but thankful.

We have had 13 days of tornadoes in over 30 states. Now in my state, Missouri, Oklahoma & Nebraska the river's are cresting again, causing more flooding. I hope it ends soon.

Glad you didn't get a direct hit. A few evenings ago we stayed up until around 1:30 waiting for a really severe storm with rotation to come through (central Illinois). Since we travel full time in an RV we keep a close eye on the weather and try to be prepared. We have been having one bad storm after another in this area. Closest tornado so far was a EF-1 that touched down 2 evening ago about 15 miles away. Late tonight they are calling for another bad one.

Glad to hear you are OK Bill but sorry to hear about your relative's damage. I was in one very minor tornado many years ago and can not imagine what it would be like to be in a major one. The weather this year has been crazy.

I am in Trotwood on the edge of Dayton the tornado's yes more than one at last count as high as 6-7 came thru our area on Monday night.I had no damage just lost my water until about an hour ago.The storm hit around 11:00 pm on Monday and considering the time of night so far there has been 1 reported death,so we have all been blessed.
