Heading out east on I-40 from OKC to
Dragons Tail on '14 HD TRICERATOPS.
HAVE HD Athalon Roller Luggage. What can I spray it with for some water protection?
Yeh, I've baggied stuff, still would like to make
luggage a little more water resistant. 10 of us from all over US hooking up for this. These
are guys I was in Cambodia/Laos with, or LEOs I've worked with. We've met at wall,
this is first we've been able to do this. I want to enjoy myself not dry out clothes!
We're leaving Friday the 26th
All insight appreciated.

Any outdoor type store will have what your looking for... Out here in Jersey 3 places come to mind. Dicks' Campmore' and Ramsey......And don't forget Cabelas.....

Wally world sells camp dry works great on boots tents, you name it. Also look for seam sealer. great for sealing the threads where they go through material.

Found this product a couple years ago....it works great on just about anything. I've used it on jackets and boots. Rust-Oleum bought the product and now have advanced it into a 1 step process. Have used both the 2 step process and the one step.....both work great.

Waterproofing Luggage

Spot on "TEXAN!"
'NEVER WET' worked as advertised! Not used to buying a product and it performs as
advertised. Pleasant surprise.
Thanks to you and all for the suggestions!

Maggie Valley and the Dragon

Update: Just returned from Maggie Valley
and Dragons Tail, Devils Triangle, Blue Ridge
Parkway, Cherohala Skyway, etc, etc. if you
haven't done it, THEN DO IT!

So many great rides and places all in one area. Went early in week just prior to Labor
Day weekend. Good timing and good weather.
Ran into rain 2 or 3 times going, weatherproof
luggage worked GREAT!

Traffic very light compared to other times of
year according to locals. Deals Gap had 5
motorcycles in lot. Total miles on this run
right at 2,700 miles. Hate I-40 love riding in
the mountains. I'll be going back!

Thanks to all.

Makes two of us ..........

Yup, I-40 sucks swamp water big time. At least I have the option of taking the southern route to Birmingham and then angling northeast up towards the choo-choo city to get to that neck of the woods. In fact, when I go to Bowling Green in April for the gtg at the Corvette Museum, I go north from Little Rock, AR into MO and then east into KY.
