I bought the very first Honda VTX1800C my Dealer got in back in 2002. It was a Silver One. Friends of Mine and Mitzie's, Mike and Patti Hilton bought a new Green One the following year in 2003. I always loved the Green Color, and watched as Mike and the Honda Dealer stripped it to the Frame, chroming most everything from Wheels, Complete Frontend, Brakes, Mounts, Brackets, etc., etc., etc., and adding the Accessory Catalogs of Kuryakyn, Cobra, Rivco, Honda, Mustang, etc., etc., to this Bike.....fast forward to 2007...Mike and Patti traded it for a New Gold Wing that They headed out west on. The next Owner lived in Fayetteville, and occasionally saw it in Lynchburg, or out on the road. All of a sudden, it disappeared until the 3rd Owner since Mike traded it in on a New 2014 Valkyrie last week...yes, I snatched it immediately...My 2003 "Green-n-Chrome" VTX1800C.....

Until this morning, it had the Rear Mustang Seat, Backrest Pad, and Honda Sissy Bar and Rear Rack, Kuryakyn Rear Footpegs, Honda Windshield, and Arlen Ness Billet Mirrors.....I converted it to a "Solo Machine".....:pepper: :pepper: :pepper:

Nice bike, the sweetest thing is you didn't have to pay nowhere near what the other guy paid when he built it.

Very nice bike Skuuter. I am not usually a fan of green but that is really nice looking. The way the paint looks it could almost have been applied over Chrome. I wonder if they used a silver or white base coat instead of a gold. Anyway very pretty.

Welcome to the world of the VTX. I've been riding one since 2004 and love it. I had Zook trike it for me around 2011 with a Champion kit so I could continue to ride after getting busted up in a bike wreck. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
I only see one problem with yours. You have it set up to solo and I want to know where Mitzi is supposed to ride. LOL

Mitzie generally prefers to ride Her own....Our first 2002 VTX1800C racked up 38,900 miles on it in 22 months...Mitzie rode on the back probably 60% of those miles, then got Her Motorcycle License in 2004...except for the Yellow Gold Wing Trike, She's ridden very little on the back since.....She was all for the "Solo Conversion"....ThumbUp

Trike it. I tricked my 2007 and it's a beast. Good luck and have fun.

Thought about it....but, would probably buy another VTX1800 if I was.....this one is such a "Complete Cool Package", and would hate to lose the Chrome Rear Wheel, Chrome Swingarm, Brackets, Caliper, etc. , and the "Top-of-the-Line-Progressive-Shocks", Stainless Brake Hoses, Urethane Bushings, etc., etc. ......;) ThumbUp
