Is it a common thing for motor trike to have a vibration only while excellerating. Nice and smooth at all other times.
Feels like the exhaust pipe is tuching the frame. Could the drive shaft cause this?

I imagine the drive shaft could cause that Bob but usually you will notice the noise and vibration more just as you begin to decelerate before you notice it any other time. It may be very slight and only for a short time so pay particular attention to that time. Short of actually removing the drive shaft and inspecting it, that will be your best indicator. :xszpv: :xszpv:

Could you be in too high of a gear? Try using more rpms. Go down to a gear lower. My 2010 since triking will vibrate in 5th gear unless I'm over 2,000 rpm or over 50 mph. It never did that when 2 wheels.

It is in all gears. I never lug an engine. The vib. is gone as soon as I level off or decelerate.

Vibration

I have been trouble shooting & found out the vibration is from the clutch. With the bike out of gear and standing beside it I could hear a noise coming from the clutch area. When I puled in the clutch lever the noise got quieter. Then I reved the engine with the clutch lever out & with it in. With clutch disengaged the vibration is much less. I guess I need to tear into the clutch & see what is wrong.
