viberation in mirrors

i have a lot of viberation in my 07 goldwing trike mirrors

Welcome aboard roscoe. At what speed or RPM is the vibration the worst? In all gears or just one?

about 60 mph plus

Has any one removed the mirrors ? Have you had a new windshield installed? I found that the screws holding my mirrors were not fully tight on my 1500. I am talking not even an 1/8 of a turn loose . I tightened them as tight as I could and they are rock solid now at any speed

I don't own a GW but I have heard that you can pick up a vibration if the drive shaft is not installed correctly. There is an alignment to it.

What kit do u have ? Is it a straight in line set up ?

no it is motortrike runs at angle had a recall on u joints but made no differance

Mine does that a little. I had the dealer tighten them up once but have also changed windshields. Glad to hear that I am not the only one though.

I had that problem with my left mirror a few weeks ago. Check the center screw on the mirrors. Tighten them if loose. Hope that fixes the problem.
