U.S. Air force, 1968 - 1972. Vietnam 69 -70.
We had our home coming last year LZ Lambeau, Green Bay Wi.
Was long over do, but very emotional at times, 1244 bikes ran across the state of
Wi. for the 1244 from the State of Wisconsin that never came home.

I did a 6 year tour of duty in the USAF in the early '70's, and served with JUSMAG (Joint US Military Advisory Group) assigned to the 1131'st special operations squadron, USMACTHAI (US Military Assistance Command, Thailand) , Det 1, LTD, as an advisor to train and support Cambodian and Laotian military personnel, to accomplish technical missions

The unit was a special detachment located at Udorn RTAFB in northern Thailand, conducting covert activities under CIA direction, and home to Air Commandos, Air America, Raven Pilots, and etc.

Wife was 2 years 4 months 10 days in the USMC. 4/71-8/73

Active duty time 5 years in Army.Was in Nam at the end 72-73. After that joined Air National Guard and retired from there as SMSGT Feb 2009. Had tours in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and in Krygyzstan in 2004 as part of Enduring Freedom.

Been there twice - but going there again for the 25th anniv of Rolling Thunder & 30th anniv of the Wall, From N/W IL & this time planning on going w/ Run to the Wall Group !!!
Will meet up w/ them in Southern IL & on to DC !!

Benefits, just read on Military.com where the Govt. Is looking at taking Tricare Prime away from working age veterans....there was no mention of what a working age was???
Senator McCain was the one who is pushing this!!!! He has become as bad for the veteran as Jane Fonda!!!! I am really tired of being in the bulls eye all the time and loosing what we were promised.
