Went to the Virginia License plate web site last night and, lo and behold, the old plate that I had on my Valkyrie way back in 2000 was, once again, available. So, I placed it on a 90 day reserve and will order it within the next couple of weeks. I had looked over and over again for a couple of years and it was in use. Needless to say I reserved it immediately!!!!!

Congrats Brogan-you have but one thing left to complete your "Hogeater Trifecta": You NEED to add a flag-with a "hog being eaten" graphic displayed on it. I would be happy to design one for you!ThumbUp:D

You design it.....I'll have it made.....and my better half can kick both of our butts.....LOL

I checked off and on for about a year and it wasn't available. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found that it was. I guess that the previous person sold his ride or otherwise changed things. Well, if they just let it lapse figuring it would still be there they now have ZERO chance of getting it back.

I was surprised too when I went to Virginia DMV and found many I thought would be gone. I ended up getting WERIDE...

Finally ordered the new plate on Friday. Hopefully it will arrive relatively soon. As I recall, the last time I had a personalized tag it took about a week to arrive. Will post photos after it gets here.

Harry,

I got my personalized Virginia plate in less then 2 weeks. I doubt yours will take longer. ThumbUp

Harry - Hope you do better than I did. After a week of back and forth on-line ordering, the "famous" NJ Motor Vehicles Dept sent me an email of "congratulations", the plate(s) have been approved and you'll have them in 8 - 10 weeks.

There must be a slow down or too much cable TV interfering with "production" schedules at whatever prison they stamp these out at...

I can relate to government entities working slowly......I had to deal with them for a totally different reason for a three year period......
