Version 1.18.21 what does it do?

I just installed software version 1.18.21. But don't have a clue as to what it did for improvements?

That's 1.18.2 .... and you won't notice anything different other than the cycle icons .... NO Tri Glide!

Big up dates are, if a gas station goes from Shell to Exon or if a Howard Johnson becomes a Quality inn. Some new roads or highway exit. Not enough for me to waste my time.

The only thing I worry about is if this update will be required for any later updates. In other words if I don't do this update, will I not be able to update in the future?

While this update doesn't put diamonds around all the windshields for ya, I bet it does help with many other bikes. Or other users that needed these mods for their use. The TriGlide isn't the only one out there that use the Infotainment system.Nor does everyone want all the same help with their units.
What does it take to do the upgrade anyway ??? A whole 15min ??
And Gary you might be correct on the future updates might need some of these updates to build on. You may like to have those....... Why not just skip it & lets see what you will miss in the future......

Well, if HD follows the same best practices as the rest of the civilized world, patches are SUPPOSED to be cumulative; in other words, each one should have all the stuff contained in all previous updates.

Yeah..... LOL like Windows does? If you didn't do service pack 1 none of the later updates will work ??
I would think that Harley would be smarter than that but I've dealt with them too long. I'll believe it when I see it kind of thing LOL !
Just keeping up on all the reasons I haven't done the Infotainment system yet. Mine just seems to work quite well in comparison.
