I was curious how many members have vanity plates or special plates such as clubs, organizations, sports teams, etc and if so what are they ? Feel free to post pictures.

I have new this year in Georgia for Motorcycles, A Veteran Tag. ThumbUp

I've had this plate, EZRDR, since the late '80's. For the phonetically challenged, that translates to "Easyrider". Been on every HD I've ever owned. Even mentioned it to Peter Fonda when I met him (don't think he cared one way or another).

When I bought my Gold Wing a few months ago, I ordered the California Black Plate,
with " GWVIPER" at dmv. The gal said it could take 3 - 6 months to get. I guess she wasn't kidding...still waiting :AGGHH:

Had "NOTIPI" on my 2011 TG. Had to make the "TIPPY" short due to ND allowing only 6 letters on the plate. The new 2016 TG has "3BTR2" (3 Better 2). ND is $25. a year extra for vanity plates so the one on the trike is $50. a year.

2016 Jade Green and Black TG

Are Texas plates a one time expensive plate then normal cost to keep them or expensive every year?
Go to: myplates.com All the fees are on line. I do the 5 year purchase. Once you buy the rights to the plate, all you pay at the tax office is the regular renewal fee each year.

Here is my vanity pl

These are some of the plates from my early m/c days. Quit doing the personalized plates back in the 1990s, I had them on my car (had my name, OJ), bikes (had a variety as below) and bike trailer (PACMUL). I did it every year until I quit, it was a lot cheaper then as well................................. Fredom.jpgThundr.jpgVoyger.jpg

It was fun......Texas only allowed 6 spaces back then, now they allow 7.

Yeah, I used to have custom plates on my custom bikes, until Texas turned the business over to a private contractor. $195/yr or $500/five yrs, plus the tag cost, kinda turned me off to the whole custom plate racket.

First two plates were for my Valkyrie Interstate:

I changed the vanity plate later to the following (much to the amusement of a friend with a dirty mind. I told him the "F" meant "Flat" ;))

When I got my GW/RS trike, I liked "Silver Streak" for a vanity plate (always liked the movie), but 6 letters limits you. I thought AG STRK would be cool, but too many letters and AG STK looks like Ag(riculture) Steak. So I settled on S STRK, not perfect as my dirty minded buddy said it could also mean "S(h*t) Streak". Oh, well. Maybe change it later to something else.

I had no idea the insanity was in force, i have more than several from the olden days on the wall and im blind sided by the price, man !!! pick my pocket, but, if i want it i will pay the piper. Ugh, studying it for the moment.
