Utopia Driver Backrest

I'm considering buying a Utopia driver backrest with the "quick out" option for my new Tri Glide. Would appreciate comments from those who have used the Utopia on a Tri Glide.

I run a Utopia drivers backrest on my solo air ride police seat.
It is excellent quality. Maybe better than some of the more well known companies that I've bought from.
Not sure about the "quick out" option you spoke of, but seems like I remember reading about it on their web site. If it's like mine the backrest falls flat to the seat when you stand up or clear the seat.
Sorry to not be of any help with your real question. My experience with them was very good though.

I just ordered mine, read about 20 reveiws on this backrest before I ordered. I got mine for a Wing, but someone should have what you are asking for.

I had one on my gl1800 wing and was very happy with it. I am just curious to get feedback from someone who has one on a TG. With the quick out option no frame is visible when the backrest is removed. Also, it isn't necessary to cut the seat & no drilling is required. Unless I read something to change my mind I plan to order one.
