I started off in this forum stating that I was not in love with my 2024 Road Glide 3. I've tempered those remarks some but it's still not a love relationship between my trike and myself, however it's getting better. I said I had done a few modification to my RG3 and that I would post a picture of my RG3, so here it is. It's some what obvious that I like the color black as a bike/trike color. Near furture, the center gas tank cover will be replaced (as soon as it arrives from Advanblack), I'm not a fan of the stock gas tank cover. Also, I removed most of the Harley-Davidson badging, I will at some point put the bar & shield on the side of the gas tank.Untitled.jpg

Good looking trike. The bar and shield logo will look good on the side of the tank.

What’s that mount for the tour pack??
It's a metal mount that matches the mount point in the trunk lid for a luggage rack. I drilled the lid, and added round rubber bumpers then bolted the the tour pack mount then mounted the tour pack. I manufactured a locking arm inside the trunk so the lid does not open all the way. It works perfectly, I say that with some pride because for the longest time I could not figure out how to open the trunk lid without holding the tour pack in one hand while putting things in the trunk with the other hand.

Dang so it’s something you made? I’ve been looking for a solution. I’ve seen one floating around but I don’t like how it looks in the pictures.

The mount that's shown in the URL you sent me. Where this mount would lock into my RG3; the OEM covers that where this mount would be inserted; I used the left cover and drilled a hole into it then placed a rubber washer in the hole and ran the wire harness I designed thru that cover and up into the tour pack. This wire harness powers the tour pack tail lights, stop lights as well as turn signals.

Love your tour pack setup , Beautiful trike , im just about to add tour pack and have lighting question , can’t seem to find a Y harness for quick attachment , did you hard wire to the 8 pin connector feeding rear tail fender lights?
Could use any help you might have!

I have a diagram and notes that I made almost a year ago. I believe they somewhere in the blackhole I lovingly refer to as my detached 2 car garage. 2 motorcycles, 1 trike, riding lawnmower, push lawn mower and bbq as well as smoker. If I can find them, I'll sent them to you. If not, I'll remove my seat take a pictures of what it looks like and send that too you. As far as your trike, love it. What handle bars did you put on it. Also your highway peg, who makes those.

I appreciate any help I can get with the lights on tour pack!
Your blacked out version is awesome, looks very good!!
Handle bars are Factory 47 , and pegs are Ciro. Both are top quality and fit just perfectly in my opinion.

I agree, and I'll get back to you, probably next week. I have to travel for business.

One other thing that I've replaced since my first pictures - The center gas tank console. I hated that hinged door and the plunger opener that comes stock on the RG3. I replaced it with the Advanblack Road Glide console with pop-up gas cap. It's a lot easier to put gas in this trike since I change that console out. Advanblack doen't show that this console will fit a Road Glide 3, it darn sure fit my 2024 RG3, and it fit Chris Glides 2023 RG2. Chris Glides is the name of his YouTube channel.
